Unforgettable Safari with Safari by Z – A Truly Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
After looking into quite a few tour operators, we ended up choosing Safari by Z because their itinerary really stood out and because of the excellent service we received from their sales team — and honestly, we couldn’t have made a better choice. Right from the beginning, the booking process was smooth and stress-free. The team was incredibly helpful and responsive, always quick to answer questions and genuinely keen to make sure everything was just right. Mwanaidi kept in touch with regular updates and info, which made the whole planning process feel easy and organized.
When we arrived in Arusha, we were greeted at our hotel by Mwanaidi, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch — it really set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing trip.
Our guide, Fadhili, was absolutely fantastic. He made it his mission to ensure we had the best wildlife experiences possible — and he delivered. From a pride of lions napping under twin acacia trees, to the raw power of three male lions devouring a fresh kill, to the quiet intimacy of three cheetahs grooming each other — we witnessed scenes we’ll never forget. And on our very first day in the northern Serengeti, we were incredibly lucky to see the famous wildebeest crossing. It was absolutely breathtaking and something we’ll never forget.
The custom-fitted Land Rovers from Safari by Z were another big highlight. They were super comfortable and clearly designed with safari days in mind — it made all the difference on those long drives. Plus, Fadhili kept the vehicle spotless the entire time, which really showed how much pride he takes in his work.
Fadhili’s deep knowledge of both wildlife and Tanzanian culture enriched every moment. He shared so much insight throughout the journey and was always checking in to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and having a great time.
This really was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, made unforgettable by the incredible team at Safari by Z. Huge thanks to Fadhili and Mwanaidi for making it so special — we honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.

This safari was absolutely fantastic, boasting the best Fabhil and Safari by z
Our seven-day itinerary delivered all the wildlife and moments we’d dreamed of—especially cheetahs and leopards just steps from our vehicle. Our guide not only secured us prime viewing spots but even anticipated where the animals would roam next. We even waited seven hours for the breathtaking Mara River crossing—what some call the “Heavenly River Passage”—and it was worth every minute. Everything was magical. Our guide Fabhil was phenomenal, Safari by z unfailingly responsible. An absolute must-do.

Bashir meticulously organized the trip for us.
The fantastic Fadhlili (an expert driver) who is always able to take unique roads, allowing us to find ourselves alone in fantastic situations and an excellent guide with his knowledge of the territory helped us discover all the secrets of the animals seen in the savannah, turned it into magic.
We visited the Tarangire park, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro conservation area and the very famous Serengeti!
Thanks to them we were able to see the big 5! And above all the very rare Leopard. Our guide was sensitive towards animals! Never a risky maneuver (like others do), never any disturbing actions and above all PASSION FOR YOUR JOB!
The reason why we saw so many animals is that the guide wanted to see them first! The guide on a safari is the most important thing!
