Very personal and caring approach
We experienced very personal approach. The owner Iddy was very nice and welcoming. Since we are more regular tourists than experience climbers, a day before the tour, our guide Gadiel evaluated our clothing and equipment and suggested what we have to rent additionally for better experience. Gadiel and his team (in total 4 persons just for two of us!) was very helpful. One of us is vegetarian and on a gluten free diet, so the the food was prepared in a way that both of us had nice things to eat and the food very tasty as well! They even baked special gluten free bread for us on the camp kitchen! It was wonderful!
The also took care for us, so that we were well guided till the peak of Meru and back. I think that the experience of our guide Gadiel helped us to reach the peak. The approach to do in a poko poko (slowly or little by little) way was the key for the success. And we were very happy about that. This is definitely value for money tour operator.
We were also very lucky - the weather conditions were perfect for climbing, so we got a wonderful views and memories.

What an amazing time in Tanzania.
Big thanks to Samora Explorers for wonderful safari experience and a little insight in country's culture.
We took 3 day safari tour to Lake Manyara NP, Tarangire NP and went for hike in 3rd day to Materuni village to see waterfall and had opportunity to watch coffee making process.
And from these days we took everything. We saw a lot of animals in parks. Samora team was Sooo passionate to make us feel happiest people in the world. ThQ!!!

Fantastic!!!
We booked a 5 day Safari with Samora Explorers, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara.
As it was our 1st Safari we didn't know what to expect and were blown away.
Iddy picked us up from the Airport and dropped us off at our accommodation.
Emidy , our guide, picked us up in the next
morning and took care of us throughout.
He has amazing driving skills, deep knowledge of wildlife, fauna and history , also about the troubles the Massai are facing, which was extremely interesting for us all.
We were very impressed by the choice of accommodation, particularly in the Serengeti tented camp, where we felt like being in a movie setting.
Also worth mentioning are the lunch breaks where we had a cooked lunch every day, instead of eating food out of a bag or box.
Having a constantly hungry 11 year old boy , this makes a big difference !
The entire experience was perfectly organized, we felt spoilt throughout the entire time and were very sad when we were dropped off at our accommodation as this incredible experience has come to an end.
Thank you to Iddy , Emidy and the entire team for making this an unforgettable experience !

A man you can rely on
Iddy was an unexpected, positive surprise. Not only because he speaks German very well, but above all because of his very helpful and courteous nature and character. After he noticed that we spoke German, he adjusted his plans and accompanied us on the safari tour in addition to his driver. During the trip, he not only shared his detailed knowledge of the country, the animals and the landscape, but also answered every question patiently. The overnight stays in his own Samora River Lodge and during the safari in the individual lodges, as well as the food served during the lunch breaks in the parks, were excellent. All in all, I will always recommend Iddy and his company Samora Explorers. I would like to thank him, his wife Marlene and his employees Barak, Henry and all those whose names I do not know for the warm welcome.

Excellent experience with Samora Explorers
A great atmosphere from start to finish, guide Reggi top and always an open ear (a team + didn't race like other guides, you could enjoy nature & animals in a relaxed atmosphere).
The accommodation was perfectly chosen and well equipped.
Can only say WOW to this planned tour through the national parks (Serengeti, Manyara, Ngorongoro & Tangire).

Reggi is a big-hearted and cheerfull person
We went on a three-day safari with Reggi through Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park, which he guided in German.
During the safari tours Reggi always had a very attentive eye, has a very broad knowledge of many animals and their lives and was always keen to show us all the animals as close as possible.
We felt comfy with Reggi from the very first second, he took all our needs into account and always provided us with unforgettable tours.
Reggi is an incredibly nice and cheerful person, he always has a smile on his face and makes you feel very safe with his driving style!
We were a great team - thank you for everything!

Best Tour & Excellent Guide (Regi)
Our family recently completed a seven-day safari organized by Samora Explorers. I contacted five Tour operators, and Samora provided the best value for money. It was indeed an unparalleled experience! Our guide, Reginald (Regi) made it more memorable and exciting with his insights, stories, and humor. From the moment we set out, the journey was filled with thrilling discoveries, from lions on the prowl to elephants wandering through the savannah.
Reginald was incredibly knowledgeable, ensuring each sighting was meaningful. He was very professional and attentive, ensuring we saw the animals up close while keeping a safe distance. His knowledge of animals and their behavior is truly outstanding! We learned a lot from him.
Additionally, we enjoyed the clean and luxurious accommodations for a mid-range budget. The hotel staff members were all amiable and attentive to our needs. Lastly, the food at each meal was delicious!

Amazing!
we’ve requested a quote for a 5 day safari & 3 day mount meru hike. Iddy, the owner, responded immediately with a personal planning and all the information we needed to know. He was very kind and helpfull! We decided to go for it and haven’t regretted! At the airport, our lovely safari guide Henry was waiting for us for pick up. We spend the next 5 days together as he was our private driver. always on time, very friendly, gave a lot of information about the parcs etc. He made our experience even better! Would do it all over again! Iddy was also very quick available if we had any other questions. Tomorrow we start our mount meru hike so excited for that experience!

Amazing safari with Reggie
We made a 5 day safari with Reggie to Tanganiere, Maniara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. It was an amazing tour. Reggie is a very kind and lovely person and has always a smile on his face. He made our days unforgettable. He has such a good knowledge about the animals and nature. We felt very save with him. He has the best view to find animals and to show us. We also enjoyed all the hours talking with Reggie who gave us so much information about Tansania, the culture and the people. Looking forward to come again on a safari with Reggie
