Samora explorers has provided me with a comfortable experience.
This is my first time to Africa, and Samora explorers has provided me with a comfortable experience. I would especially like to thank Iddy and Reggie. Whenever we had questions about the itinerary, Iddy always responded promptly and provided detailed answers. Reggie, our safari guide for this trip, took great care of us and made the experience truly wonderful. His extensive experience allowed him to consistently locate the animals we wanted to see—thanks to him, we were able to spot the Big Five of Africa. He is also very attentive, always tailoring the travel route to our needs and reminding us of important precautions during the safari, which made us feel very safe. In the evenings, he would always join us for dinner and share insights about local African life and culture. I will definitely return to Africa for another trip and choose Samora explorers as my guide again.

It’s my first time go to safari
This was my inaugural journey to Africa, and I couldn’t have asked for a more seamless experience thanks to Samora explorers. I’d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Iddy and Reggie for their outstanding service. Iddy was incredibly responsive, addressing every query I had about the itinerary with thorough and timely replies.
As for Reggie, our safari guide, his expertise and attentiveness truly elevated the entire adventure. His deep knowledge of the wilderness ensured we encountered the most sought-after wildlife—including the legendary Big Five. What impressed me most was his ability to personalize our route based on our interests while prioritizing our safety with clear, helpful guidance.
Beyond the game drives, Reggie’s warmth and hospitality shone through during our evening meals together, where he shared fascinating stories about Africa’s rich culture and way of life. Excellent lifetime experience
Before we go, Iddy was kindly to reply all of our questions, even the silly one. He really made sure that the trip was to become what we wanted.
And our guide Reggie was amazing, he rather than an experienced driver,also got the incredible ability to spot animals ,that we can able to see the big 5, and witness cheetah, lion hunting . It will become my lifetime memory. Overall he’s a funny and kindness to share the culture of Tanzania, teaching us the local language.
Reggie really makes our safari an unforgettable experience and I would highly recommend him to be your guide!

Friendly, experienxed and service minded
The entire process went very well. From the initial quote to the final hand off at the airport, they have been very service minded doing everything to cater to your needs. We were considering several options in our safari trip and they helped us navigate with their knowledge and local know how. The guide was very experienced and found great spots to see the animals. He talked about the animals how they behave and lots of other fun facts along the game drive.
Overall a great experience and one we can reccommend.

Fantastic Experience
If you want an excellent Safari experience, don’t fuss about whether to choose expensive or cheap accommodation, but choose your guide very carefully.
Eman (Emanuel Edwards) is an expert and careful driver, who avoids as many ruts and potholes as possible for our comfort, and an incredible navigator, who can find his way across the plains without so much as a wrong turn. But most importantly, he has a vast knowledge of the animals and birds of Tanzania.
He is calm, patient, kind, considerate and wears a fine snaggletoothed smile. His main concerns are our safety and satisfaction, alongside a preservation of the wonderful areas through which he guides us. He is no high-fiving, foolish, jabbering joker, but a perfectly relaxed, polite gentleman with whom you feel immediately at ease and safe in his hands; very important when you are spending a few days with somebody.
He speaks very good English and seems to instinctively know how much information you want about the animals and birds which he can spot at great distance and with great ease, even when hidden in the bush.
My advice; choose Eman.

Our guide was speaking english and german, very patient, safe driving, super good lunch boxes.Happy.
The guide was in time at the Samora River Lodge, we appreciated a lot Reggie’s open communication and the driving style. Excellent opportunity to discover Tarangire from our place. We saw lots of animals and Reggie gave us very good information about the region, the way of living around here and the animals.
