An experience not to be missed!
Communication from Citrus from booking until after the tour was excellent, with there being contact throughout the 10 day tour of Kenya and Tanzania. Excellent reliability with pick ups always being on time, thus giving us the most amount of time for safari.
The sightings were exceptional and we had Ali as our driver and our knowledgeable guide, so we saw the big five and many other animals too. We were looked after well at each of our accommodations, and both the hotels and campsites were a good standard for a budget trip.
After picking up a stomach bug just before the tour began, Citrus went out of their way to make sure I was looked after and comfortable.
Overall, excellent value for money and once in a lifetime sightings.

Citrus was laid-back yet very accommodating
We found Citrus very helpful and accommodating from the early planning stages all the way through to dropping us off at the airport. Our guide, Patrick, was experienced and very knowledgeable about the land, animals, and culture and yet relaxed and flexible. I traveled with two young children and they felt comfortable and supported the entire trip. There was quite a bit of road miles involved, but likely there is no other way to see such a diversity of landscape. Wonderful, memorable safari and we did it on a budget.

6 Days of joy and best Kenya experience!!!

Absolutely perfect!
After much searching for the perfect safari I decided to go with Citrus Tours after lengthy talks with Steve, and let me tell you, it was the best decision. Steve did literally everything for me, from getting me a simcard, extra water, changing money to making sure I would have vegan meals everywhere I stayed and making sure I (solo female traveler) would feel absolutely safe. The driver, Patrick, was amazing! So patient (there were 2 kids in my group), funny, relaxed and very knowledgeable about animals and their behaviour. Made sure we saw all the cats and every other animal we wanted to see. Also bought us fresh fruit along the way. Overall a 5+ star experience.

Professionalism
A first experience in East Africa. Everything was booked online with Steve without any problems. Steve is always reachable and responds very quickly to questions, whether before the stay or during the stay. Very pleasant and reassuring. An excellent driver, Ricco, who was keen to share with us the wonders of his country. Professionalism, attentive, always smiling, good knowledge of animals. Full professionalism of people with passion
We were on 10 days safari Kenya/Tanzania with Citrous ( whole family with 3 childrens 16,14, 12 years old ) and I must say that it was pleasure and happiness from the begining till the end. Starting with great contact and full servise aviability given by Steve and later our guide Gibson great guy always with a smile on face and full knoledge of every animals which we saw in parks during Safari. Trip was well organized and all pionts which we agreed took a place . We seen big five in two days !! Later when we were in Tanzania quality was still in high level. Excellent choice, reliable, trustful company, great safari
We were traveling with the family of four. That was the best choice we could make: we have seen big 5 and much, much more.
Excellent staff - starting with Steve - so helpful, with immediate responses via whatsapp
ending with awesome guide James.
The food was very ok as much as the trasportation.
We tottaly recommend this company, the whole journey we didn't have to worry about anything.
Even trasportation from the Airport and back was included.

Smooth, unforgettable safari experience
Travelled with my boyfriend and this was our first safari - a budget safari of three days. We got in touch with Steve after we got his contact details from another couple we met when travelling. He was very responsive to our messages and wishes, and the organization was smooth. Even the transportation from/to the airport was included!
The game drives in Maasai Mara were truly unforgettable, especially during the game drive on the first evening when the sun was setting - the views were strikingly beautiful. Much thanks to our skilled driver Martin we were able to see all of the "big five" on our second day! Some of the most memorable views were two cheetahs hunting and feasting on a wildebeest, and a male lion up close (sleeping of course).
The campsite had all we needed, tents were quite big and featured a bathroom and shower. We met other travellers via our safari group and also in the camp, there was a nice community feeling.
We highly recommend Citrus Tours for a good value for money safari with friendly and professional people.
