Skookum,Superlative, Awesome Safari
5/5

Our Safari to probably the best National Parks in the world or its probably the biblical Noahs arc,Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire remains etched in our memories and hearts for the rest of our lives , to a greater part thanks to Antelope Safari's. The staff from the first contact on the phone when booking to the guide on the safari displayed exceeding levels of professionalism. It was a Safari organised for my wife and two children (Boy 13 years, and Girl 11 years) all of us being well travelled all over the planet and this Safari merits it being second to none. The flight bookings , the choice of Hotels and comfort in ground transportation exceeded our expectations. The staff at base were always in touch with us through out the trip and they displayed excellent telephone etiquette and professional e-communication. I would recommend Antelope Safari's, in a heart beat , keep up theGood work , you make Safari's to dream of.

5/5

Many thanks for this great trip.
Our gratitude first go to Luice who devoted a lot of time and efforts in planning the whole trip. Many many thanks Luice, the whole experience was excellent.
Allow me also to extend my thanks to Ali who was great managing us in Arusha and to George our amazing driver/guide who did a tremendous job driving us through beautiful Serengeti and Ngorongoro and the lakes. Zanzibar was also wonderful.
The whole family is really grateful to all of you for this wonderful and unique vacation.

Professional and excellent service.
5/5

Travel experience was excellent. Beat our expectations in terms of quality of lodging, but also in how seriously they took making sure that everything was going smooth during the trip.

the most amazing experience and best holiday ever
5/5

we have spent 8 days with the most professional and highly experienced guide (rama) driver (george) in february 2016 on a tyalor-made circuit/trip with antelope safairs (said) 2 adults and 1 teenager
we had high expectations with several demands such as a private car and driver, water provided everyday and alternating visits of parks with visits of lakes and volcanoes but also meeting with local tribes and riding the bike visiting villages. Antelope and its team made this dream possible for a reasonnable price. We highly recommend this tour operator

Dar-Es-Salaam -> Ruahah (amazing) -> Udzungwa (amazing) -> Dar-Es-Salaam (avoid)
4/5

We went to Tanzania on Honeymoon and decided to go on a safari as a once in a lifetime experience and had a good time in Tanzania... once we got out of Dar-Es-Salaam but be prepared to drive a LONG way. If you love your animals and photography (which I do) I would highly recommend a safari and Ruaha and Udzungwa are amazing places!

Omari, our guide, picked us up from Dar airport in the evening. He was a great guy, very friendly and a real character. As a guide he was also brilliant! We went to a hotel in Dar, where we stayed for a night. In the morning we had to be up very early (we left at 5am) to go drive to Ruaha National Park. Be aware, the drive will take all day (14-hours driving as fast as Omari would dare drive), the roads are not good quality and there is little in the way of conveniences on route. Omari was even surprised that the tour operator offered us the package we went for (it was our choice to go on this safari, so I dont blame them).
We stayed the night in a really nice banda on the outskirts of the park and then spent the next day in the park, with Omari, which was really great. The wildlife there is excellent and many of the animals retain the natural fear of humans and vehicles. Additionally, there are very few visitors to the park, so when you see some of the more high profile animals, there isn't a swarm of cars around them, which makes the experience much more intimate - you are reliant on having a good guide. We stayed in Ruaha for 1 day, which I would make longer if I was doing the trip again so that there we could have spent more time in the park as well as not having to travel all that way just to come back after 1 day.
The following day we travelled to Udzungwa. I cannot recommend Udzungwa enough, it was the best park of our safari andd a must see if you go to Tanzania. We stayed two nights in Hondo Honda in a tented banda, which was really pretty and they often have baboons walking through the garden and monkeys foraging in the evening. The next day was very special as we went up into the rainforest and were able to various species of monkeys, including rare red iringas, as well as the udzungwa falls.
The following day we had planned to Mikumi, but decided to head back to Dar (we were felling a bit unwell, tired from a lot travelling the previous few days and the election celebrations and much of the wildlife we had seen in Ruaha). The main road does travel through the nation park, so we were able to see some of the wild-life that inhabit the park.

Then we got back to Dar... The traffic in Dar is horrendous - the best analogy I can think of would be if there was an accident at every other junction on the M25 that is the traffic you have to deal with... If you can avoid going into Dar DO because it took almost as long to traverse Dar as it took to get to Dar from Udzungwa.

A great Safari experience!
4/5

Antelope Safaris organized our safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro in May of 2015. The tour was well organized and our guide was excellent. Overall I was very happy with the trip and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great safari experience on a moderate budget.

World class safari experience
5/5

The whole experience dealing with Antelope from beginning to end was easy and hassle free. Communication with the tour company was fast and prompt (getting replies with an hour of sending emails). As a Tanzanian I was very impressed with how easy it was to sort everything and how tourist friendly my country was in general. My guest had an amazing time as did I. The tour it self was well organized and our driver was very well informed and shared information on Tanzania and the fun facts regarding the different wild life we saw. He was very good at spotting Animals in the most hidden locations, which resulted in amazing pictures. We stayed at Vuma hills. I cannot fault that place, the staff are a friendly bunch and we spent most nights, chatting with the lovely barman Chris and the manager till it was time for the generators to go off and then head to bed. The whole experience was wonderful. Thank you.
