Well organized
George was a fabulous guide! I’ve been on a few safaris in East Africa and George by far had the greatest depth of animal knowledge. He also somehow knew where all of the animals were and the other guides in the park looked to him for where the good sightings were. Outstanding
My family and I could not have hoped for a better Safari experience. George took care of everything. He helped us plan our trip. Then he picked us up at our hotel in Nairobi and drove us to Amboseli. Along the way, he pointed out things of interest. When we arrived at our lodge, George gave us time to eat, freshen up, and get settled in our rooms, making clear when and where we would meet to go into the park. Once we entered the game reserve itself (both that first afternoon and all day the following day), he really hit his stride. He seemed to have a sense about which animals would be where; and when we happened upon an unexpected animal—like a jackal with prey in its mouth—George would pull over and let us watch patiently to see nature in action. In the case of the jackal, George pointed out that the animal felt uneasy about crossing the water. We watched him try to cross repeatedly and eventually turn around and go bury his prey, presumably to dig it up later for his family.
George heard about a lion sighting from another driver and headed that way. Again, he patiently pulled over to the side of the road and encouraged us to observe the lions quietly. Several other drivers left, since the lions seemed to be inactive. George felt confident, though, that the lions would eventually pass very near our vehicle and cross the road to the patch of trees on the other side, as he knew they’d be seeking shade. Like clockwork, his prediction proved true, and we had a breathtaking experience. When we finally drove away from there, one of the drivers who had left earlier was chiding himself for not following George’s lead.
George spotted an eagle subduing a monitor lizard for lunch and another bird eating a snake. On both occasions, he let us watch as nature unfolded before our eyes. We saw hippos, monkeys, baboons, a cheetah, a civet, wildebeests, geese, moose, elephants, and on and on and on. FIVE STARS!!!!!

Trip of a Lifetime
Our Masai Mara safari with Hadven Tours was truly the trip of a lifetime, and George is hands down the best guide you could ask for. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely well connected. Because of him, we were up close to every animal we hoped to see—and more.
George knows the land, the wildlife, and the timing like no one else. He anticipated movements, positioned us perfectly, and made the entire experience seamless and unforgettable. If you’re considering a safari in the Masai Mara, don’t hesitate—Hadven Tours and George are the gold standard.

More than a safari guide
We had the luck to share days with George in Nakaru and Masai Mara. He shows great pride in he’s work and is always on alert looking for how to make the experience as good as possible. Except being excellent in finding animals (the big five, cheetahs etc) he has great knowledge about the animals itself, explaining the circle of life on the savannah adding extra flavours to the tour/experience. To this he is also a really funny guy with a great sense of humour making the trip enjoyable in a relaxed way. We had some crazy adventures in Masai Mara driving around 450km during one day, and even though you can never give guarantees in the wild life I think George with he’s 21 years of experience is one of the best there is to find the big five + cheetahs, with a great network of friends in the savannah sharing information of whereabouts with him. I also want to add that we never felt unsafe riding with George even tho we had some adrenaline-raising chasing of animals.
So, to summarise! George added a great, almost invaluable, experience to our trip with he’s great personality, friendly but yet very professional setting and a great sense of humour. We saw a lot, we got taught a lot, we laughed a lot and we shared some great memories together. And it’s as beautiful as it can get when you still feel that pure love and pride over what you do even after 21 years.
As you already figured out, I can’t give a better recommendation even if I try than this. 10/10 communication, 10/10 value for money, 10/10 reliability and 100/10 the tour itself.

Unique Gee and his crew (John, Nicole, and David) provided an unforgettable safari experience. Everyone was super friendly and a joy to spend time with. The crew is very knowledgeable about the animals of the Maasai Mara, and gave a lot of really neat information. They worked together to provide some really neat views of wildlife and scenery. George takes fantastic photos, and did a great job of documenting the day. I would highly recommend the Hadven safari experience to anybody.

The tour guides made the safari experience unforgettable. Their knowledge about the animals, land, and history is unmatched. They are truly the best guides possible and I cannot imagine doing the safari experience with anyone else!

"Unique Gee" George brought our dream Safari to life!
We had an amazing Safari with George, he delivered on all points, more than we imagined possible. George was so friendly and personable, taking photos with his camera and forwarded them to us. He provided an experience that we will never forget or stop talking about. We seen more different animals than we anticipated, the numbers of elephants, lions, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest was incredible. We have an incredible photos of a large elephant standing with Mount Kilimanjaro directly in the background. With his 16 + years of experience, he knew exactly where to find the animals and when they were on the move, he would position the jeep so we would have a great view when the animal re-appear. I would totally recommend George my friends and family wishing to book a Safari. Thank you very much!

Incredible bucket list holiday!!
The safari was INSANE, honestly the best trip we’ve ever been on - George our safari guide was AMAZING and really made our trip. His knowledge on animals was second to none, and often we were first to a scene!! He has over 16 years experience and you could tell this is a passion for him not just a job. The safari car was brilliant, comfortable and spacious and we had nice cold bottled water at hand.
The camps we stayed at were amazing - the food WOW I’ve never eaten so well!! Breakfast omelettes to a full 3 course buffet dinner - and amazingly catered for vegetarians!
We travelled to Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Mombasa Diani Beach - all absolutely amazing places offering different thing and sightings. Highlight for us was Masai Mara.
I have and will recommend a safari in Kenya to all my family and friends - a bucket list holiday executed incredibly well - thank you!
