Best Safari Ever
My husband and I have enjoyed so much the safari organized by Pendo. Everything has been amazing and taken care of. Pendo has been very accessible and attentive at all times. Our safari guide, Lazaro, has been super nice and we have enjoyed sharing this experience with him. We would repeat the experience with Tales of Tanzania Safaris without hesitation.

Excellent safari operation
From start to finish this was an excellent safari experience.
Pendo provides great information on the tour, follows up very quickly and provided answers to all of our questions. Given this was our first safari we had lots of questions and concerns but everything was resolved, even providing alternatives to one of the lodges we were not unsure of.
All of the pre-trip input from Pendo made us a lot more comfortable choosing Tales of Tanzania for our trip.
When we arrived our expectations were exceeded, everything was so well planned from the pick up at the airport to the itinerary review with my family prior to departing fir the safari.
Our guide was Dismas who did everything to make our safari a fantastic experience. He was always trying to find animals for us to see. He was able to find a way for us to view the Big 5.
5 stars for Dismas too.
All of the lodges we stayed at were good experiences including the food.
Overall a very well run operation that provides an excellent experience at a very reasonable price.

Our tour operator was fantastic and went above and beyond expectations.
Pendo, was amazing. We started planning our trip with her in August, and she made it stress free. She made all accommodations asked for to plan our dream trip, and had plenty of recommendations as this was our first trip to Africa. She was able to keep our itinerary with any changes up to date all the way to our arrival. We did a 6 day 5 night tour with two people. Pendo's communication before, during, and after our safari was excellent. Our safari guide Dismas was also great, and made sure we had everything we needed each day and always checked in on us through our whole experience. I would recommend this safari tour over and over again. They also pay great attention to detail as both have many years of experience in this industry. All accommodations where above what we thought they would be, and all planned excursions were also great I highly recommend the hot air balloon ride. Pendo, also response to question within a day even with a 9hr time difference from America.

Wonderful experience that we will never forget
We had 7 days safari with Tales of Tanzania and everything was beautiful. From the first contact in August till the departure in Arusha at the last day, we was very good maintained. We made an enquiry to 4 companies with our ideas for the safari and Pendo was the only one, who gives us the quote that custom-made for us. The answers to all our questions comes shortly afterwards and everything was like we had discussed. We had a very good german speaking guide. We was in Tarangire - Serengeti- Ngorongoro and all of this NP are absolutely unique. We saw a lot of elephants in Tarangire, thousand of Zebras in Serengeti, we saw lions there and the fantastic Retima hippopool. And at last the unbelievably Ngorongoro Crater with so many animals all over the area. We had such a luck to see a group of lions with the hunted zebra of the last night. All lodges were good but the nights and days in Suenos de Africa Camp will be unforgettable. Buffalos and elephants next to us. Wonderful. Another fantastic place isRhino lodge on Ngorongoro rim.

Our Dream Came True
We had a limited amount of time & an aggressive itinerary along with a particular travel style for our trip to Tanzania.
Pendo worked with us to custom tailor a trip to our specific needs. We were so pleased with our safari. All our requirements were met and there were no surprises.
Pendo is excellent with communications and very knowledgeable about her job.

Great two days safari
The safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro was simply amazing. We enjoyed it from the first minute to the last. Our driver Robert was just perfect, I think he enjoyed the safari as much as we did :) Pendo, who we communicated with to organize the safari, was very detailed, helpful and provided all the information we needed. We highly recommend doing this safari with Tales of Tanzania, it was a great pleasure, thank you for organizing these two wonderful days for us!

Reliable and good communication
It is a very personal and heartfully company. They have a good communication before the Safari so that you know good about all things.
The days were very full packed, so a bit short time in the hotels. We liked the hotel places very much, really a good choice!

Amazing experience
From April 15-22, 2023, myself and six of my friends embarked on an extraordinary safari journey with Tales of Tanzania, a family-owned operator based in Arusha. I worked with Pendo, the owner, to plan the trip. Her prompt and attentive responses to my numerous emails, addressing every aspect from lodges to food, parks to logistics was great
Our adventure began in Arusha then we went to Tarangire National Park where we saw so many elephants. After we went to Manyara park. Then, we set our sights on the Serengeti, our home for three unforgettable days. The view of the Kubu Kubu Lodge was amazing and left us awe-inspired. We finished our trip in the Ngorongoro Crater before heading back to Arusha.
All the lodges we stayed exceeded our expectations. Exceptional views, comfortable accommodations, and delightful cuisine, and everywhere the staff was very attentive to our needs. We celebrated the birthday of one of my friends, they surprised us with a lively dance and heartwarming Swahili songs, my friend had the best birthday ever !
We were fortunate to see so much during our safari. From playful baby lions to lionesses after a successful kill, from herds of over 200 elephants gathering in the Serengeti (apparently for a grand meeting) to the majestic rhinos, hippos, and graceful giraffe. sightings also included various antelope species, olive and yellow baboons, monkeys (who stole our lunch) , soaring vultures, wildebeest, hyenas, agile mongooses, alligators, and so many beautiful bird species.
The true essence of our safari experience would not have been possible without our exceptional guide, Dismas has a bionic eye to see from afar all the wildlife and bring us there. He played an indispensable role in making our safari an unforgettable journey, he was attentive to our needs and very knowledgeable about all the wildlife. We had a lot of fun with him the entire week.
Tales of Tanzania, with Dismas as our guide gave us an exceptional experience. Their well-equipped and comfortable Land Cruiser provided us with a seamless ride. I highly Tales of Tanzania to all seeking an unforgettable safari adventure.
