We recently embarked on a breathtaking safari adventure across Kenya and Tanzania with Whiteplains Safaris, and I am thrilled to share that it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all expectations. Whiteplains Safaris nailed it. From the moment we set foot on this remarkable journey, it was evident that we were in for something truly special.
Our personalized trip encompassed visits to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli.
The game viewing was exceptional. We witnessed the incredible trek of wildebeests right at Mara River. It was spectacular.
One of the many aspects that stood out during our safari was the choice of overnight accommodations. Whiteplains Safaris ensured that our stay was not only comfortable but also immersed us in the heart of the wild. Waking up to the sounds of nature and being surrounded by stunning landscapes made the entire trip feel like a dream.

Joseph, was superb, gentle, and very knowledgeable about the fauna and animals.
We had the best safari experience. Our guide was experienced and knew where exactly to spot all the animals. He stopped so we can take pictures. Very fortunate to catch the sunset too. We saw giraffes, rhinos, lions, zebras, antelopes and many animals that were unknown to us. His driving skills, second to none. Best day

Consumate professional, willing and able to meet the most exacting requirements
We worked with WPS on a very demanding professional photography project, requiring a highly specific itinerary, complex local interactions and logistics arrangements and, above all, the ability to constantly adjust nearly every aspect of the trip is response to new information, success (or failure) of specific goals and other environmental conditions. Joseph was not only able to handle every single curveball Kenya threw at us, but to do this always calmly and very efficiently. He not only met our requirements, but exceeded them. We are currently planning a new expedition in Kenya and WPS will be our partner.

Amazing Safari with amazing guide
The Safari was beyond our expectations. The hotels were very nice and cozy, and Joseph our guide is a very nice person. He knows a lot about animals and is great looking for them. We were able to see the big five and lots of more animals we did not even know they exist.
We loved the route he chose for us, because we squeezed every second of the days. We had a 8 nights Safari through Kenia and Tanzania and we visited the most important parks of both country's
The car was very comfortable and spacious.

Fantastic safari company
Highly recommended!
Joseph created a fantastic, customized tour for my family. He listened to our many criteria and put together a wonderful package. He was always available and very responsive.
Since we were on a safari that utilized flights within Kenya, there was no opportunity to enjoy Joseph's company (as others have commented). However, he made it a point to come to the airport at the start of our adventure and make sure we were all set. This was a small gesture that epitomized his character (I don't think this would have happened with a large tour provider).

Awesome safari!
This was our first safari and such an unforgettable experience. Communication with Joseph, the tour operator, was quick and easy. The proposed itinerary he provided was informative and we were able to easily modify it before finalizing everything. We enjoyed all the places we stayed at and there was something unique about each one. The game drives were just wow (super sawa sawa!). The tour guides/drivers (John in Kenya and Rajam in Tanzania) put in a lot of effort in finding the animals at the top of our list (leopard, rhino, calves, as well as a cheetah hunt and the most awesome selfie with an elephant). Each game drive was unique. There were so many encounters that left us awestruck—we’re still ooh ahhh-ing over our pictures and processing everything we experienced. Joseph was with us for the whole trip; he was quite knowledgeable about birds, which was a bonus. He also assisted with logistics (providing documents quickly for visas needed prior to arrival, getting us through border crossings, arranging dinner reservations at a restaurant we wanted to go to prior to taking us to the airport). This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had and we have White Plains Safaris to thank for that. They are reliable, prompt, friendly, and well worth the money.

The best experience, beyond our expectation!
Our experience with White Plains Safaris and Joseph was amazing! The service was impeccable since the very beginning: during the reservation process Joseph was extremely helpful, flexible and very honest. After booking he supported us in any way he could, including paying for our Visas as we had some issues doing that online by ourselves! He was also very helpful in creating the itinerary, which proved to be amazing as it offered great game drives and diversity of landscape.
Things kept being perfect throughout our trip; the accommodations he had reserved were very nice and always positioned perfectly, to avoid extra driving. During the game drives he was very accommodating and always asking for our feedback to make sure we had the best time. He brought us in amazing spots thanks to his unstoppable Land Cruiser and we got to see many animals including 3 leopards from very close! We also enjoyed his company very much and he was always able to answer our questions and providing interesting insights on the animals, the parks and Kenya in general. We always felt safe and well taken care of, so I would (and will) strongly recommend Joseph and White Plains to anyone looking for a good time in Kenya and Tanzania.

Epic Kenyan Family Safari

The anticipation for our family trip was set from the detailed itinerary provided to us a month prior to traveling.
Daily plans and travel were detailed along with what resort activities and amenities were provided throughout the trip.
Travel within Nairobi from our arrival and even local flight arrangements to each destination throughout our trip was taken care of by Joseph with consistent and daily communication. Joseph’s knowledge of Masai Mara game reserve, Malindi on the Kenyan Coast and finally Nairobi and the surrounding towns allowed my family to express our collective and individual interests and he provided solutions from shopping, dining, golf outings ,safari sights, entertainment and night life.
The level of professionalism and knowledge of Kenya allowed all of our interests to be catered to while also fulfilling our group needs and from start to finish an amazing trip with great adventures. No task was too small or too big for Joseph. Every item on the agenda was addressed with extreme dedication and commitment to excellence.
