A huge thank‑you to Leopard Orchid Safari for delivering an unforgettable safari experience. James, the company owner, even came to pick us up at the airport.
Our guide and driver was Lawrence. He was extremely conscientious and responsible, and drove exceptionally smoothly. We had long transfers of 5‑6 hours between parks on rough, bumpy roads. Lawrence took great care navigating every pothole, making our rides comfortable throughout the trip.
He was incredibly dedicated to wildlife spotting. Thanks to him, we got to see the Big Five and nearly all the target animals on our wishlist. He was always punctual for pick‑ups and drop‑offs, and had a very friendly manner.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this trip. This is a highly‑reliable operator. Solid 5‑star recommendation!

Wonderful experience in Kenya!
We loved our safari in Kenya with Leopard Orchid Safaris! Booking the tour went smoothly with quick responses to our questions and we appreciated the flexibility in choosing lodging that best met our needs. Our guide, Francis, did an exceptional job taking care of every detail. He made sure we knew the plans each day and what to expect as situations changed. His knowledge of the wildlife and parks is very impressive and we learned so much about Kenya, too. Experience of a lifetime!

Amazing Safari experience!
We had an amazing experience with Leopard Orchid Safaris and truly enjoyed every moment of our 6-day safari through Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and the Maasai Mara.
Our guide, Paul, was fantastic. He is a very skilled driver and we always felt completely safe on the road with him. He really knows how to drive through the parks and somehow always seemed to find the best spots to see the animals. As a guide, he is very passionate about wildlife and treats the animals with a lot of respect. He also shared lots of interesting information about the animals, nature and the different parks, which made the experience even more special.
The safari itself was absolutely amazing. Paul made a huge effort to get us as close as possible to the animals, and we were lucky enough to see so many of them up close. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to find a leopard, despite Paul’s best efforts, but we were incredibly lucky to spot a cheetah in the wild, which was an unforgettable moment! The three parks were all very different from each other, with completely different landscapes and wildlife, which made the six days varied and interesting from beginning to end.
The accommodation was also very good. All the lodges were clean, comfortable and included meals. Our absolute favourite was Oilepo Lodge. It is a beautiful tented lodge surrounded by nature and peace, with an incredible view of Mount Kilimanjaro and a watering hole visible from the restaurant. This place really stole our hearts!
We also want to mention Michael, who arranged everything with us online before the trip. He was always very quick to respond, friendly and helpful. We unexpectedly had a change in who could join us on the safari, and Michael was extremely understanding and flexible. He thought along with us and made us feel that it was absolutely no problem. We really appreciated this and want to thank him again for making everything so easy.
The transfers between the different parks can sometimes take quite a while, but this is simply part of travelling between the parks, and the safari experiences make it completely worthwhile. Paul is also an excellent driver, which made the longer drives much easier and helped us save time along the way. Water was always provided in the safari vehicle as well.
A safari is definitely an investment, but with Leopard Orchid Safaris we really felt that we got great value for our money. From the communication and organisation to the accommodation, guiding and safari experience itself, everything was very well taken care of.
We would absolutely recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari in Kenya. Thank you to Michael and especially Paul for an amazing experience that we will never forget!

Francis was great, knowledgeable and friendly
We had an amazing trip our driver/guide Francis was very knowledgeable and took us to see all of the big five of Africa. We even got to see the Great Rift Valley and Maasai Mara where we were able to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara river!

Felt well taken care of from beginning to end
Daniel was great at arranging our safari, and communicating quickly to customize our safari. His recommended Mail Saba Lodge near Lake Nakuru was fantastic! As well as the Kongoni Lodge at Lake Navaisha. Francis, our guide and driver was outstanding. We really appreciated his knowledge, promptness, and safe driving in very dicey traffic & roads. His connections with other guides made it possible to learn of the wildebeests crossing the river, that was amazing to see. We saw and did so much in just 7 days! Outstanding adventure! Nicest people! Appreciated the send off on day one by all that came from Leopard Orchid to meet us at our hotel and give us safari hats and water bottles-over and above our expectations!

THE experience
Where do we even begin? Our experience with Leopard Orchid was simply unforgettable. It is difficult to put into words what we experienced: truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Our guide Joshua, who accompanied us for six whole days, is one of the most friendly, kind and knowledgeable people you could ever meet. In fact, we now consider him a true rafiki (friend in Swahili), to the point that we are already daydreaming about our next trip with him.
His determination and patience allowed us to spot the Big Five — and even get incredibly close to them — as well as countless other animals. Some emotions simply cannot be explained; they have to be experienced.
There may even have been a little tear shed at the end of the safari. :)

An unforgettable safari experience in Kenya
We had an amazing six-day safari with Leopard Orchid Safaris as part of our honeymoon in Kenya.
Everything was well organized from the beginning, and communication before and during the trip was smooth and reliable. Our driver-guide was friendly, professional, and incredibly good at spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we were able to see so many animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, rhinos, and many more. We were especially impressed by how he could spot animals from such a long distance and always tried his best to give us the best possible experience.
We visited Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, and Lake Naivasha, and each place offered something completely different. Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro clearly in Amboseli and watching wildlife up close in the Maasai Mara were some of the highlights of our entire trip.
The long drives between the parks were also comfortable, and we always felt safe throughout the safari. The itinerary was well balanced, and the accommodations were also enjoyable.
This was our first safari, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of our honeymoon. We would definitely recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

If we were to suggest a few areas for improvement, we would say that the hotels could be upgraded slightly, and the picnic/lunch arrangements during the safari could be improved in terms of variety and presentation. However, these are relatively small points compared with the overall quality of the experience and the wonderful service we received.
Thank you to Michael, Sami, and the whole Leopard Orchid Safaris team for giving us such a beautiful and unforgettable Kenya experience. We will remember this trip for a very long time!
