It was a great experience and our guide Patrick was amazing!
My girlfriend and I went on a 7-day tour in total. We visited Amboseli, Navaisha, Nakuru and Masai Mara parks. Each park gave us unique and exciting experiences, perhaps only Navaisha is avoidable in favor of an extra day in Nakuru or Masai Mara. We were very lucky to see all the animals present in the parks, even the rarest ones like the leopard and the black rhino. But the greatest credit certainly goes to our guide Patrick, who knew how to reach the right places at the right times!
The lodges we stayed in were also nice, the only negative was the Explore Nature Mara lodge. The journey involves many hours in the car with roads in terrible condition (the amazing thing is that the dirt roads in the parks are better than the paved ones outside.). But when you reach the parks you immediately forget the stress.

Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly.
The itinerary is what made us chose this safari as it sounded great. Lots of communication with Lewis in the months prior to our start date.
We visited 4 different reserves which gave us varied experiences and ranges of wildlife.
Lewis and Jessie were superb. Jessie, our driver, navigated the tracks and could spot an animal which once we couldn't even identify with binoculars.
Lewis took loads of fantastic photos and videos which were incredible.
Best experience ever, exceeded my expectations. Definetly recommend it.

The most amazing Kenya safari
We arranged our safari with Lewis and Imara Africa via WhatsApp where Lewis sent me lots of links for various places, helped me choose dates, pick up and drop off places etc.
We decided on a pick up from our hotel in Nairobi where all of the staff met us with the private vehicle and our driver James. We drove to Amboseli National Park where we stayed for 1 night at the Elewana Tortilis Camp with food and drink included. The drive into the park itself was amazing and we saw lots of animals. We then had another safari drive later in the afternoon.
The following morning we drove to Tsavo West and Salt Lick Lodge where we were staying for 2 nights and again a game drive on the way in and another one in the afternoon.
On the second day we had a full day game drive in Tsavo East and the following morning James drove us to Mombasa where we were flying to Zanzibar.
James was an amazing driver and we saw all of the big 5 while we were there. He made sure we had plenty of water in the truck and got us to each place safely. Lewis of course made sure everything was arranged in advance so checking in was smooth and our accommodation was amazing!
I will be planning another safari for the Masai Mara and I have no hesitation in using Imara Africa Safaris.

Diligent, Quick, Comprehensive, Trustworthy
They have safaris within some countries in East Africa offering a wide range of possibilities from very short ones to longer stays. They answer the email super quickly, their English is perfect and all the details are provided in a timely manner. Once there, lodges included are excellent and the driver knows about the national parks and the animals too, so he becomes a guide aside from a driver.

An absolutely perfect safari experience for my family and I
Luis, Patrick, and Ian were absolutely flawless during our time with them. They made us feel like family from the beginning, and were always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate any needs or questions we may have had. We were able to see so many animals in the two parks we visited, and when it was allowed, we had opportunities to get quite close to the animals to just be able to admire them and get amazing photos.

Mt. Kenya Trek
Had an amazing trek up Mt. Kenya with Imara Africa Safaris. No complaints whatsoever. The guys were very professional & knowledgeable. Food was delicious & filling. I’ve done a bunch of international trekking, so I knew what to expect. The accommodations were fine. We made it to the summit in time for a beautiful sunrise. I would book with them again.
