Absolutely fantastic experience
We had an unforgettable six-day safari tour through the national parks of Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with Alkanjaoi Tours from Arusha. Our tour manager Peter Mapinda of Alkanjaoi Tours was great. He managed our whole trip in excellent way, and helped us to deeply dive into the incredible wildlife. It was so amazing. We saw all the big five several times and thousands of wild animals. All the selected lodges were excellent, and the catering was outstanding. Even at lunchtime, we had a warm picnic every day in beautiful locations inside the national parks. Thank you so much, Peter!

Unforgettable 6-Day Safari with Peter Mapinda
We had a fantastic six-day safari tour through various national parks (Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire) with Alkanjaoi Tours from Arusha. We were perfectly guided and taken care of by the owner, Peter Mapinda, and got to experience the full breadth of Africa’s incredible wildlife.

Best tour operator we had till date
One of the best trips we had as a family.
Serengeti and overall all safaris in Tanzania were straight out of Discovery and national geographic channel.
Our tour manager Peter Mapinda of Alkanjaoi Tours was great. He managed our whole trip in excellent way, right from hotel stays, game rides and time management were great.
He was a great guide and we enjoyed our game rides with him.
We would 100 percent recommend him for Tanzania tours.
Beyond Excellent is best way to describe the whole trip.
We will be eager to return to Tanzania again in near future.

Amazing trip to Kenya and Tanzania
I recently returned from a 10-day safari adventure through Kenya and Tanzania, and I can honestly say it was the trip of a lifetime! From the iconic plains of the Masai Mara to the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti and the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, every moment felt magical.
Highlights:
Wildlife sightings: We saw the Big Five and so much more — lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, giraffes, cheetahs, and even a river crossing during the wildebeest migration!
Professional guides: Our guides in both countries were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled at spotting animals we would have missed on our own.
Cultural experiences: Visiting a local Maasai village was a genuine and respectful experience that added a rich cultural layer to the trip.
Lodges & Camps: Accommodations were comfortable, clean, and beautifully located. Falling asleep to the sound of lions in the distance was surreal.
Seamless logistics: Everything from border crossings to park permits was handled smoothly. Transfers, meals, and excursions were well-organized.

Bring a good camera and binoculars — you'll want them!
Dress in layers for early morning game drives.

Fantastic safari with an extremely knowledgeable guide
Upon recommendation of a friend we booked our entire tour with Alkanjaoi, specifically the travel to and from the Tarangire National Park as well as the game drives. Akanjaoi chose exactly what we had hope for at a good price. Specifically, the lodge was great with a fantastic view from a pool on elephants, giraffes and other wildlife. Further, we had exciting game drives and plenty of opportunities to shoot the best pictures. Finally, we safely returned back to the airport and had much to tell to our friends back home.

Top class Safari
In February we went on our first safari with Alkanjaoi Tours and Safaris. It was really impressive. Our second safari was in Tarangire National Park. That was a great safari. Our driver Peter knew his way around. We saw the big four in the park. Unfortunately, there are no rinos there. We had three spectacular days in the park. Thanks to Alkanjaoi Tours and Safaris.
