Our guide Moody was the best. Extremely knowledgeable and patient in answering all our questions. Very accommodating towards our needs especially as we had elderly people travelling with us. Very entertaining too

Amazing safari trip
Our Serengeti safari with Kibo Mawenzi was truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The breathtaking landscapes, endless plains, and incredible wildlife exceeded every expectation. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, along with countless zebras, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, and stunning birdlife in their natural habitat.
We were group of 28 people Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife, making every game drive both exciting and educational. Their ability to spot animals were amazing.
Food was freshly cooked by miriam was very healthy and tasty. Evening entertainment was icing on the cake.
I would highly recommend Kibo Mawenzi For a great safari experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful safari experience with Kibo Mawenzi, and it became one of the highlights of our trip to Tanzania.
Everything was very well organized from the very beginning. A special thank you to Brian, who was always quick to respond to our emails, helped with all the arrangements and adjustments to our plans, and stayed in touch whenever we had questions. Communication before the trip was excellent and made the whole process very easy.
Our luxury tent was comfortable for group of 4 and had everything we needed, while still giving us the special feeling of staying right in the middle of the Serengeti.
A very special thank you to our guide, Issa. He was excellent — professional, knowledgeable, patient and clearly passionate about the Serengeti and its wildlife. Thanks to him, we had some truly unforgettable sightings. Over three days, we saw more than 30 lions, including spending almost an hour watching a pride of nine, three leopards — including one incredibly close to us on the tree — as well as a cheetah, elephants, giraffes, large herds of buffalo, zebras and many other animals.
Issa always knew where to go and how to position the vehicle, while never making us feel rushed. We had plenty of time to simply watch the animals and enjoy what was happening around us, rather than just moving quickly from one sighting to another. This made the whole safari feel very personal and memorable.
We were traveling as a family with children, and the entire experience was exceptionally well organized and comfortable. Three days felt incredibly rich in experiences and memories, and we left feeling that we had seen far more than we could have hoped for.
A huge thank you to Issa, Brian, Mohammed and the entire Kibo Mawenzi team for making our first safari such an unforgettable experience. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone planning a safari in the Serengeti.

Amazing safari experience
Have just come back from an amazing 4 day safari in Tanzania. From the booking to the trip itself, Kibo Mawenzi were excellent. Brian sorted the booking and everything was smooth. All the hotels and camping that he chose were of an excellent standard. Our Tour Guide was called Issah and he was fantastic. Very easy company to spend with for 4 days and took us to all the best places so we could see all the animals we wanted to see - and we saw them all! He really looked after us. We then did a 1 day tour which was a hike on Mount Kilimanjaro to the Materuni Waterfalls and then on a coffee tour - Laurent who took us on the hike and did the coffee tour was just brilliant - he is really made for the role, charming and knowledgeable.
I would highly recommend booking with Kibo Mawenzi - they will look after you and ensure you have a fun-packed week, thank you guys from the three of us!

3 memorable day.
Spending three days camping and exploring the safari with my closest friends was a wonderful experience with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris. The safari drives were thrilling and full of wildlife viewing opportunities in a respectful and natural environment. The campsite was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We loved spending the evenings sitting around the fire enjoying delicious food and talking about the exciting experiences of the day. 4 days was completely enjoyable, immersive, and endlessly memorable.
We booked Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for this four-day private safari and we were expecting a nice trip and honestly got something far more profound.
Each park had its own unique vibes. The journey to Tarangire began with a calm morning and elephants roaming very close to our vehicle. From there we entered the Serengeti, where its vastness truly overwhelmed us; cheetahs resting in the tall grass and wildebeest stretching to the horizon. The most impressive for most of us was the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater filled with rhinos, hyenas and lots of animals. Our guide (Elia & Peter) knowledge was extraordinary. He was spotting animals we would never have seen and telling stories that brought the ecosystem to life. The campfire food, starry skies, and warm hospitality made it a fantastic adventure. Unforgettable experience.

Peaceful family time
My family and I recently completed a 7 days safari in Tanzania. Thanks to the professional Kibo Mawenzi Safaris and the whole team for the excellent organization. Communication was easy, the service was professional, and the safari was truly memorable. Tanzania truly gave us a wonderful seven-day wildlife experience, which we would remember forever.

Very well organized, everything went smooth. Unforgettable experience
We did 1 day private safari in Nyerere (Selous) national park - amazing tour, saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, monkeys, antilopes, buffalos, zebras, snakes and many other species.
From the pick up at the hotel, flight with the 10-passengers cesna, safari itself to the return at the hotel - all smooth, without any issues.
Our guide Martini made sure we saw all the game (btw it is not a zoo, you might not see all of them in 1 day) that we could, explained everything about the animals or the park.
We had great lunch prepared by the local team in the middle of the day.
100% recommend if you prefer to be taken care of by professionals and enthusiastic people rather than big agencies.
