Well organised tour for our honeymoon:)
My partner and I highly recommend Soul of Madagascar. From the very beginning to the end of our trip, Theresia was very helpful and responsive to all our questions and requests during the planning process. We had to change our travel dates several times while requesting quotations, and she was always patient and accommodating.
Joushia was our guide for the first nine days of the tour, and he was exceptionally considerate and knowledgeable. He shared lots of information about Madagascar and introduced us to various local foods and dishes. We mentioned that we wanted to try mofogasy, and he thoughtfully remembered and surprised us by bringing freshly made, warm mofogasy for us to enjoy during sunrise at the baobabs. It was such a memorable experience. The logistics throughout the trip were also very well arranged. He communicated the daily itinerary clearly, and on days with lighter schedules and shorter travel times, he made sure we had enough time to relax and fully enjoy the surroundings. By the end of the trip, Joushia felt more like a friend of us than a guide! We would definitely recommend Joushia to other travellers.
Mahefa was our guide for the last two days, he was also helpful and introduced all local practices during the city tour. He also found the Koba, a local street food, for us to try. It tastes good~
This has truly been a wonderful honeymoon (a great adventure) for both of us!!

Great choice!
Booking our tour in Madagascar with Soul of Madagascar was a great experience.
First of all, a shout out to Theresia. She answered all our emails promptly and was able to change the itinerary per our requests both beforehand and more last minute (as one of our flighta got cancelled). The itinerary she put together was great, with the highlights being Tsingy, Isalo and Ranamofana.
Secondly, we had great guides. Michael and driver Njato were young and enthusiastic. They were great, easy-going guys who loved showing us their native country. We had a blast. They told us so much more than a standard script. They were never invading our privacy (something we have felt in the past with other intensive, private tours).
Because we took a flight to Morondava, for four days we had the pleasure to travel with two different men: Gervo and driver Allen. These men were basically the older counterparts of our other guides which made this very fun. These people too were enthusiastic and friendly and made our tour better.
Then a shout out to some of the local guides, especially Patrick and Roxi, who were very knowledgeable about the (geographical) features of Madagascar and its wildlife. We also thought our local Tsingy guide should get a mention but we forgot his name.
Overall, the rooms were fine or great. Never really disappointing and sometimes exceeding expectations. We didn't have dinner included (some tours do give you the option to do that) but we were glad in the end because now we could just choose from the whole menu instead of a set menu. And Madagascar is very cheap, so it might be cheaper to choose your own food anyway instead of having it included.
In the end, locationwise it doesn't really matter which tour operator you book with, but Soul of Madagascar has top grade guides, fast response times, good prices and I promise you will have a good time choosing them to book your trip in Madagascar.

Excellent and flexible organization with professional guides
We spent two perfectly organized weeks in Madagascar based on our previously given ideas. After a week of truly adventurous safari, we rested our fatigue on beautiful tropical islands. Our guides always looked after us, we felt safe despite the often wild and romantic environment. It was a fantastic adventure with professional help. The price/quality ratio of the accommodations was also appropriate. In short, we really enjoyed it and a thousand thanks to Soul of Madagascar Tours for everything!
