Most incredible safari ever! Trip of a lifetime
Our trip to Kenya with Ramjas Safari was truly a bucket list experience.
From the start, Steven was fantastic—so responsive, patient, and informative via WhatsApp. I work in luxury hospitality, so that level of service really stood out and set the tone for the entire trip. We shared our budget and he curated the perfect 6-day itinerary for me, my husband, two friends, and my 74year old mother.
When we landed in Nairobi, our guide Patrick picked us up, and we instantly felt at ease. Warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made us feel in the best hands from day one.
We began in Amboseli at the lovely Kibo Camp, where the staff were so welcoming. Watching herds of elephants roam beneath a stunning sunset was pure magic.
Next stop was Sopa Resort at Lake Naivasha! It didn’t feel like a typical three star hotel thanks to the beautiful grounds, where giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife wandered freely. Just stunning (felt like a country club in a way) and wish we could of stayed longer.
Then came the grand finale - the Masai Mara. A true bucket list destination, and the perfect ending. Patrick went above and beyond to make sure we saw every animal on our list—especially lions! His knowledge, patience, kindness and flexibility made all the difference. We stayed at the Masai Mara Camp, which struck the perfect balance between modern comfort and authenticity. The hot air balloon ride Patrick arranged for us was also unforgettable.
Even on the long drives, Patrick was so thoughtful, always finding the cleanest rest stops, which my mother especially appreciated!
Back in Nairobi, we had lunch at Carnivore with both Patrick and Steven before heading to the airport. Saying goodbye to Patrick and to Kenya was very emotional. Every one of us, even my husband, shed a tear.
Ramjas Safaris exceeded every expectation. Steven and Patrick were truly the best, and everyone we met along the way had the warmest, kindest spirit. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already planning our return, hopefully to explore Northern Kenya next time. Couldn’t recommend Ramjas Safari more highly. Thank you for everything!

Amazing service, seamless organisation, felt safe throughout with our driver Sammy, and we got everything we wanted from this trip! Sammy made extra effort so we could see all big 5 and more, and also was very accommodating with our requests! We travelled with kids 9 and 10 years old and it was an amazing first Africa experience for us and our kids!

Strongly recommend and definitely a trip to remember!
Our tour guide was exceptional. He showed us best of Kenyan National parks, was very happy to respond any questions we had without information overload, showed us where to buy souvenirs and was great with kids. We were lucky to see all big five as he was adamant to do everything he can to ensure we had best experience. Strongly recommend and definitely a trip to remember!

Excellent Service
Did Naivasha, Nakuru and Masai Mara with Ramja Safaris. It was a quick plan and had great coordination and support by Steve, including follow up with electronic travel authorization. Reasonable price. Excellent service. Very experienced guide (Isaac). Had good sightings. Highly recommend Ramja Safaris.

A safe, pleasant, plenty of activities but relaxing tour
I strongly recommend Ramja Safaris! We enjoyed 7 days safaris as a family with 9-years-old and 12-years-old children. It became a lifetime experience for us.
The director, Steve, was very responsive, always quickly responded all my questions when planning safaris. He was very clear when it comes to matters related to budget.
The drive guide, Sammy, a man of fun, made us laugh a lot. At the same time he was very experienced and had a wide human network among other drivers and rangers. He knows animals hiding in bushes, which enabled us to find all the Big-5s throughout the tour. He arranged game drives like a story or a movie. Everyday our safari had its climax and we encountered a new big animal, which made our kids enjoy animal-finding in every drive. The visit to Masai village deepened our experience too.
In addition accomodation was so nice. We stayed at lodges in vast National Parks in Amboseli, Nakuru and Masai Mara. The hotel at Naibasha was also terrific that my 9 years-old son wanted to stay there 3 more nights.
In summary, the tour was fantastic and I am sure that Ramja Safaris would assist you to experience the same way we did.
Small tips: bring binoculars and a good smartphone camera.

I found Ramja Safaris on Safari bookings when I started searching for my dream holiday. The owner Steve answered promptly to all my questions. He was very polite from the very begining. He adjusted the programme to our likes and gave us good advise regarding hotels and camps. We met Steve and his wife at the airport at 4am as soon as we arrived.
Patrick our guide picked us up from the hotel at the beginning of our safari. He is the kindest soul. A real gentleman very cheerful and happy guy that tried to make our safari unforgettable. Apart from the fact that he is a walking encyclopedia he is passionate about wildlife and he makes sure that you are satisfied with the wildlife you want to see.

Perfect from start to finish
There are many safari agencies to choose from and we were very lucky to choose Steve Muinde and Ramja Safaris. Steve was professional from start to finish and we never had to wait long for answers to our questions. Information and itineries were sent to us with many options to choose from. We chose our itinerary and within a couple of days received a detailed description of our safari and the cost broken down to account for accommodation for one couple and one single occupancy. Any questions were answered immediately and the transfer of funds went very smoothly.
On the day we were to start our safari we were greeted by Sammy, our driver/guide for the week. What a pleasure it was spending our days with him. He knew every inch of the different parks we visited and where to spot the various animals and birds. Also, when he heard of a sighting from another guide he pulled out all the stops so we could be there.
I have no hesitation in recommending Ramja Safaris for a truly wonderful experience.

UnforgettableExperience with Ramaja Safaris
I was a bit skeptical before the trip, as there are so many safari agencies to choose from, but we definitely made the right decision with Ramaja Safaris! Everything was excellently organized, and Steve was available 24/7—always kind and helpful.
Our guide, Moses, was absolutely phenomenal. He perfectly understood our preferences and customized the tour to match our desires. Instead of another game drive on our last day—since we were already exhausted from chasing wildlife across the savanna—he surprised us with an unforgettable experience: a sunset picnic in the heart of the savanna.
