Reliable and Helpful Tour Company for Gorilla Trekking
I decided to visit Uganda and join a gorilla trekking trip on very short notice. Luckily, Santaviva Travel was able to organize a one-day gorilla trekking experience for me.
They also arranged my transportation from Kampala to Kisoro and helped book a night bus in advance, which saved me a lot of travel time.
Everything went smoothly, and their assistance made the whole trip much easier. They are reliable and professional, and I highly recommend them.

I got into Kisoro looking for a reliable company for the Gorilla trekking and reached out to Ivan as I was staying at rhe Santaviva hotel. The hotel is a great option as it is a clean, budget friendly place.

Smooth and easy eco tour through Uganda
My partner and I booked a 12 day tour through Uganda with Santaviva. They were recommended by our friend who had a great experience with them and Ivan who took great care of us and created an amazing itinerary. Leading up to it, we were worried about the recent Ebola outbreak, however Ivan assured us that the outbreak was extremely limited to a few imported cases in a place we would not go anywhere near and that top health protocols would be followed regardless throughout the journey. True enough, we had no issues and everything ran as normal.
Our main priority was the Gorillas in Bwindi, but we also visited Murchison Falls NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, chimp and rhino Trekking (both serious highlights), and Lake Bunyonyi. Ivan acted as our driver and guide throughout, making sure everything ran very smoothly. During planning, Ivan was always very responsive which gave us lots of confidence and made preparation easy. Ivan also took special care to ensure the trip was as eco, sustainable and responsible as possible from booking eco lodges to reducing the amount of plastic bottles purchased.
We loved our trip and cannot recommend it highly enough.
