Unforgettable and Amazing Safari Experience - Truly Excellent
Prior to any travel plans I always read reviews but rarely post one ... having done a superb safari with Mountain Warriors compelled me to share our experience on SafariBookings. Following a separately organized Kilimanjaro trek I booked a 6-day Safari with Mountain Warriors and my wife joined me for this after the Kili trek. I came across Mountain Warriors via Internet only without any recommendations and wow this worked out. It was brilliant to work with Loveness from the start, no issues on tweaking the itinerary, transport, payments and any support, Mountain Warriors went above and beyond. We ended up on a mid-budget shared safari with mixed accommodation from tent to quite luxury accommodation and great new safari friends from Korea and the Cayman Islands made this a perfect experience. Mali (Meliaki) was a superb safari guide and a super nice person, very knowledgeable and a joy to be around with for the safari capturing an enormous amount of wildlife and experiences. There was so much to be learnt. We will never forget a true Lion King experience in the sunset. We finished off with another brilliant tour guide Carlos for the final day around Materuni Waterfall and Village which was far more than a stop gap to finish the week in Moshi, after an amazing week in North Tanzania. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, look no further. Our safari in Tanzania exceeded every expectation we had, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our driver, John. From day one, he was professional, super competent, and had an infectious sense of humor that kept us smiling throughout the long drives. His expertise was impressive; he knew exactly where to find the animals and shared fascinating facts about the ecosystem. guide!) to check off the entire Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Buffalo, and Rhino). Beyond those, we saw a breathtaking variety of other animals, from graceful giraffes to vast herds of wildebeest. Every game drive felt like a scene out of a documentary. An Unforgettable Safari with John – The best guide in Tanzania!
If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, do yourself a favor and ask for John, mountain warriors. He didn’t just show us the animals; he made us live the Serengeti.
John is an incredibly skilled driver and has an 'eagle eye' for spotting wildlife—we saw things we would have never noticed without him. But what truly sets him apart is his personality: he is genuinely kind, professional, and always available to accommodate our requests with a smile. His deep knowledge of the ecosystem and his great sense of humor made every hour in the jeep a pleasure.
He turned a great trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Asante sana, John! You are the best!

Our safari experience was truly exceptional thanks to our guide, Simon. Even a month after finishing the trip, the excitement and gratitude we feel toward him are still beyond words. It was our first safari, and Simon’s energy, calmness, deep knowledge of every location, and professionalism made it an unforgettable experience, one that will probably remain the best trip of our lives.
We spent six days on safari visiting incredible locations such as Tarangire, Serengeti, and Lake Eyasi. The hotels were very well chosen and made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. However, in our opinion, what truly made this experience exceptional was the warmth and closeness of the people we met along the way.
Simon, if you are reading this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything we shared. Both Joaquin and I are very grateful, and we hope our paths cross again soon.

Amazing experience!
Rehema, with whom we booked the safari, was always extremely helpful, responsive, and thorough in answering all our questions. We chose a 4-day private safari, and it fully exceeded our expectations.
The lodges they recommended were beautiful, and everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. Our guide, IDI, was incredibly knowledgeable and also an excellent driver. He truly made the safari unforgettable, managing to show us all the animals we had dreamed of seeing.
They even organized a surprise birthday cake for my mom, which was such a thoughtful and special touch.

Absolutely Fabulous and Faultless 4-Day Safari!
This was our first safari, so we contacted a few different companies for quotes before making our decision. We had read the very positive reviews about Mountain Warriors and Rehema replied to our initial inquiry promptly with a very comprehensive and comparable quote. She quickly answered all of our many questions before we finally decided to book our safari with Mountain Warriors. We opted for a 4-day mid-range private safari with a photographer, visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. We felt completely safe and comfortable throughout and the whole experience far exceeded our expectations! Yona was a perfect guide and Herman took some fabulous photos. Yona is very knowledgeable and great fun too; we learnt such a lot from him. He expertly navigated us to all the perfect spots to observe the animals and we had no problem at all ticking off the "Big 5" and the "Ugly 5"! Yona is an accomplished driver with amazing eyesight too! We were really impressed with his ability to spot all the wildlife as we were driving along the tracks. The accommodation was beautiful and far better than we were expecting and all the picnic lunches and meals at the lodges were delicious. We would highly recommend anyone to book a safari with Mountain Warriors.
Flexible, knowledgeable and helpful.
From the first quote, Rosemary at Mountain Warriors provided excellent information and helpful ideas. She tailored our itinerary to fit our exact needs and suggested things we hadn’t thought of. The Safari itself was well organised and our guides were knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go to get the best out of the Safari. We had a fantastic time and the places that we stayed in for our mid-range Safari were amazing. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Fantastic Four Day Safari
We booked on a four day safari from Zanzibar with John. We loved the experience and our accommodation and logistics were fantastic, making our safari a really special experience.
We experienced some mishaps where we had a delay in the Serengeti due to a flooded river, as well as two car breakdowns (they take some serious batterings)! These experiences were not a fault at all of John or the company, rather a positive reflection of how well we were looked after and how well organised our rescue efforts were (thank you Walter)! John absolutely prioritised our wellbeing and it was lovely to see the positive relationships between the safari guides where they support one another in times of need.
Communications before and during the safari were fantastic from Rehema so we were able to enjoy our holiday prior to our safari stress free. We were also able to leave our large cases in Zanzibar with our local transport, and our transfer to and from Zanzibar was seamless.
A word of caution, the roads are very very bumpy, so if you have a bad back or are prone to motion sickness this might not be the adventure for you!!

The tour was perfectly planned
We had 2 days private safari tour Tarangire and Ngorongoro from Zanzibar and it was really great organized. Professional service from start till the end. Thanks marketing specialist Rosemary for the best communication and tour guide Mbwana for interesting stories. We enjoyed our tour, especially day 2 in Ngorongoro crater was incredible! So many different animals, it was amazing to observe them in the wild nature.
