Excellent value for money ! Can recommend it
Jambo Bwana Expedition organized everything, from our transfert from the airport 2 days before the beginning of the safari to our flight to Zanzibar the day after the safari ! Everything was well thought, the night stays were AMAZING. Our driver Edwin was the best !!!
The fact that I am vegetarian got respected, and the food was excellent! Communication was perfect, Stanley made sure to always answer. Everything was really good and we would book with Jambo Bwana Expedition if we get to do another safari in Tanzania. Thank you to the team.

Perfect organization for an unforgettable safari
Many thanks to Jambo Bwana Expedition for organizing this magical safari.
This 5-day tour enabled us to see a huge number of animals, accompanied by a guide who was always ready to help us discover new animals and landscapes.
Perfectly organized from start to finish. The Jambo Bwana team will be at your disposal at any time if you have any questions.
Thank you again for these unforgettable moments.

Safari Dreams Come True
Our safari experience was absolutely incredible and truly magical. Everything was extremely well organized – from the transfers to the accommodation and the delicious meals. We were able to see an amazing variety of animals and breathtaking landscapes. Our guide was fantastic, friendly, and full of knowledge, sharing so much interesting information with us. Communication was excellent before our arrival, as well as during and after the safari. I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!

The best holiday EVER
I did a 5-day safari with 3 nights in lodges and 2 nights camping. The experience was absolutely amazing — we saw so many animals and never felt bored for a second. The food was delicious and plentiful, with a great variety of vegetables, meat, fruit, and more. I never once felt hungry after a meal.
Our guide was fantastic, and the places we stayed were all great. The camping was basic but fine — cold showers in the Serengeti, but it was manageable. In Ngorongoro, it was very cold at night, but the campsite was beautiful and we even slept beside zebras, which made it unforgettable. The team who organized the safari were always available and incredibly helpful.
I 100% recommend this safari experience — I loved every moment of it.
There’s also an optional activity for $20: visiting a Maasai village. Personally, I don’t recommend it. For me, it didn’t feel authentic — everything seemed staged. We were welcomed with a dance, then shown the school where children recited letters and numbers, and afterward taken to the “houses” where there was nothing inside. They explained how they lived, but something about it just didn’t add up for me.

Amazing
It was an exceptional experience — we were truly captivated by the beauty of the parks. We stayed for five days and everything was very well organized! We didn’t encounter any issues, and the lodges and camps fully lived up to the price we paid for the safari.
Make sure to bring warm clothes if you’re staying in camps, but the experience of sleeping surrounded by wildlife is absolutely amazing. You’ll eat well at every meal — the traditional dishes are really tasty and the people are incredibly kind.
If I have one piece of advice, it’s to skip the Maasai village visit — it felt like a show put on for tourists and we didn’t enjoy it at all.
Don’t hesitate — choose Jambo Bwana Experience, they made my trip unforgettable

Very organized
Overall experience very nice! We got taken care of since landing until the last minute. Serengeti and Ngorongoro incredible places! A good guide improves the quality of the experience exponentially, ask for one :)
Mind that campsites might not be for everyone so check beforehand on google.

Very prepared and very nice!
We booked for a 4 days trip including different parks and attractions, they were always on time, always prepared with refreshment and food.
We slept in tents and lodges, all well equiped and well managed.
Definitely recommended if you need to do a safari, even of more days!
Thank you for everything!

Prefect!!!!
From airport pickup to accommodation and the entire Safari experience — everything was perfect. If I had to choose again, I would still go with this company. Our guide Goodluck was professional and attentive, helping us spot so many animals. I even gained a few pounds from all the delicious food! Manager Stanley was also very responsive — when I accidentally left my phone in the car, he helped me get it back quickly. Everyone we met was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience
Everything was perfectly managed, food, accommodation, tents and lodge. We met a fantastic group, and our guide Malisa was amazing. We saw all the big five and some of the animals were very close to us.

WORTH IT but room for improvement
Stanley, the owner, was fantastic for all pre-trip communication, very clear and attentive, answering all questions and reserving a place for us whilst we waited for visa.
The safari trip itself was hosted by a guide from another company which we were not informed about, but the guide Omar was very experienced, knowledgeable and well-informed with great attitude and a big smile. We were so glad we had Omar for our entire 5 days and built a good relationship with him but many other travellers were not so lucky and were thrown around different cars and groups. This was a surprise to us having different people in the car each day as the organisation from the office seemed very chaotic trying to accommodate different itineraries. Unfortunately this practice led to our itinerary being changed around on Day 2 (Lake Manyara first instead of Serengeti). We went along with it and still visited all the destinations but it was less ideal than our original itinerary. Also, we didn’t realise that group tours bundled travellers living in different accommodations (eg. campsite vs lodge) so there was quite some time wasted on driving for pick up/drop off, especially in Serengeti where accommodations were 45mins or more apart.
When we reflected this to Stanley, he was very sorry and did his best to make it up to us. We trust that he will sincerely make improvements for future tours.
On the positive side, seeing the animals - including all Big 5 - in person was an absolutely AMAZING experience, as was meeting travellers from around the world! Accommodation at the lodges was great, clean and comfortable, but be aware that camping public campsite is not for everyone with shared sleeping bags and very basic, sometimes extremely dirty, toilet facilities. A chef came with the group to cook for us and he did a great job with hot lunch and dinner so we were well looked after meals-wise! You definitely do get a good “African massage” from the bumpy roads but the car was comfortable and provided a great view (aside from when it broke down few times).
All in all, some questionable organisation norms and unexpected car issues aside, it was definitely worth it seeing the wonderful animals and the magnificent landscapes!
For first timers like us, we recommend checking with your tour company if you will be with the same guide the whole trip, and if on a group tour like us, whether your itinerary will be honoured. Also, we found that 24 hours in Serengeti is way too short as it is such a HUGE area and much time was spent driving long distance in and out of the park, as well as dropping/picking up other travellers from their accommodation. In hindsight, we would go for an extra night in Serengeti for more dedicated game drive time and to take it all in.
