Professional and friendly, Excellent guide
5/5

We went to Tanzania on our honeymoon. And we had a perfect 5 day trip withe Extreme Wilderness Adventure. The communication with tour manager Mike was smoothly even before the trip, And they were fully prepared to guide us when we arrived in Arusha.
The safari tour was well organized. The game drive was amazing because we got to see a lot of wild animals that were there, especially the big 5. Elephant sighting was highlight as we were able to see them up close.
Other things were just perfect, too. The tour, accommodation, fresh food, transportation, service and every lodges. Among them, our guide Johnson, he was the best. He was the best guide I ever had. He picked us up from the airport and we felt relieved right away. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and made an effort for us who were not good at English. Also, he was good at solving problems when they arose and we could trust his expertise. He is very good people and experienced also and we enjoyed a lot with him on our safari.
It was the trip of a lifetime and we made happy honeymoon memories. Thank you, Extreme Wilderness Adventure and Tanzania!

Booked this safari very last minute (only 2 days prior) and everything was organised with such breeze! Great communication with Mike and Peter our guide was awesome! we had so much fun on this safari. The accommodation and food exceeded our expectations. The only regret we have was not staying longer in Serengeti. Highly recommend Extreme Wilderness for an unforgettable experience.

Great 5 day Safari tour! Our tour guide Pius was extremely knowledgable and friendly and a great driver. We saw so many animals and enjoyed all the lodges we stayed in, staff were always friendly and the food was of high quality. The communication prior to the trip was also very clear and Mike was there to welcome us, as well as wave us goodbye at the end.
Overall a trip of a lifetime.

Friendly
5/5

Extreme wilderness Adventures put together a phenomenal tour for our group of friends from my MBA class. My BEST TRIP, hands down, weaving culture, adventure, outdoors, and dinner parties. The guides were phenomenal, knowledgeable and friendly. The jeeps were in top condition. We were lucky to see all Big 5, rare animals such as white rhinos. We witnessed varied aspects of wildlife culture from mating, to zebras’ dust baths, and lioness hunting only for the little ones to mess it up. The first accommodation was a bit rudimentary (but clean); however, the tour quickly escalated and exceeded our expectations bringing us to exotic paradise like lodges in the middle of the wilderness and the more renowned five star resorts in the isles. They accommodated special diets with brio (e.g.: dairy free, piscatorial, nuts allergy and even vegan). One thing I would change is to take the small plane instead of the ferry between Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, unless you are an experienced sailor (sea sickness was intense and it was total chaos in the ferry which was swinging left and right ). If you choose to take the ferry brace yourself for a local crowded local experience when you disembark, I like a good adventure, so I did not mind, we were actually happy, but if you haven’t travelled much to Africa before, it might be a bit of a shock.

Well informed

Our Safari exceeded our expectations. We have been on many safaris in Southern Africa and anticipated a much larger scale experience. And Tanzania did not disappoint. Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Eyasi, Ngorongoro crater (the most plentiful sightings), south and central Serengeti were all unbelievable. We were fortunate enough to witness the southern migration and experience a hot air balloon ride too.
This incredible Safari, was made all the better by our two amazing guides, Wilson and Hassani. Cannot say enough about these two gentleman - extremely knowledgeable, very reliable, kind & helpful, they looked after us impeccably. We did not want for anything. Seek them out if you are considering a Safari with Extreme wilderness.
Besides the incredible wildlife (highlight being the 9 cheetahs we saw that we have never seen on any of our numerous safaris), the people of Tanzania are wonderful and very friendly. Everywhere we went we were greeted by smiling faces and enthusiastic mambo!
Our time touring Tanzania with extreme wilderness was so memorable to all of us and we all do hope to be back on another safari with Wilson and Hasani. We are grateful to the whole team for making our experience painless and memorable.

Our first trip to the wilderness. It was my first time visiting Tanzania and experiencing the magica
5/5

Our first trip to the wilderness.
It was my first time visiting Tanzania and experiencing the magical wilderness, I was so excited, I had heard so many wonderful things from friends about the magical plains and wildlife they encounter in Africa. Tanzania was a no brainer for a first time visit, everyone I asked had nothing but positive things to say about the parks, people and weather in Tanzania, the challenging aspect was finding the right people to arrange our trip (I travelled with my mom and baby sister). A friend of mine who visited Tanzania last year recommended Extreme wilderness and I can not thank him enough, they where amazingly quick to answer my inquiry just a few minutes after contacting them, we planned the trip and they helped us get the best accommodations for the best prices.
When we touched down in Arusha, Extreme wilderness welcomed us like we were royals! A bottle of champagne some exotic Tanzanian fruits, we were all so pleasantly surprised. The tour coordinator was very professional and charming he explained our safari plan and answered all of our questions. The accommodations they suggested were exceptional, the staff where so helpful and caring. Our driver guide John was one of the highlights of our trip, he knew the right places to see wildlife up close, he told us all about the wildlife some interesting bits about the animals we saw, He was so charming and made us all laugh so hard at times.
I am really grateful to Extreme wilderness for giving my family and I such a wonderful holiday, I will definitely be back for another safari and Zanzibar, as we didn’t get a chance to visit the isles this time round.

The Absolute Best
5/5

Wow, Just wow, what an experience! My girlfriend and I had a 5 day tour of Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater for a much needed couple’s retreat and it was nothing short of spectacular. We enjoyed top game viewing experiences and stayed in paradisiacal resorts in the middle of the wilderness.
Our Amazing time in East Africa was made possible by our guide George and the whole Extreme wilderness team. From the moment we got picked up from the airport, we were met with a friendly smile and a spotless vehicle. George’s enthusiasm for Tanzania and the wild life was so contagious. His eyes light up whenever he talked about the flora, fauna and culture in and around this grandiose destinations we visited.
We saw so many animals and managed to spot the Big 5!! George answered every one of our questions, even the very stupid ones, imaculately and always with a smile. His time management was also unrivaled. He definitely went above and beyond for us to have the best experience possible and we are extremely thankful to him for giving us the best time we could have ever imagined. And to top it off, my luggage went missing at the airport and George worked, tirelessly, to track it down and have it returned to me. We will definitely be coming back and we will be recommending this to all of our friends!
