We travelled with Rosario's group. Our first driver was Francis then Simon.
The tour was superb. A trully unique and wonderful experienced enjoyed by all. WE started in Nairobi which is a dusty, congested and loud city with horrendous traffic. However accomodations were first class, comfortable and enjoyable. Travelling through the roads of Kenya is a slow process with many trucks on the highway and one travels through many small towns. These excersions from one national park to another were well coordinated and planned with stops along the way wich included clean bathrooms and places to shop. Once one got to the national parks (Samburu, Amboselli, Ol Pajeta, Massai Mara, Lake Nakuro, Lake Naivisha (sp?) Tsavo East and West. It was a unique and very pleasant experience. We saw plenty of wild animals in their natural enviornment and up close. The splendor of the migration of antelopes rolled in front of our eyes continuously as far as the eye could see. Animals looked healthy and protected. WE could appreciate the uniqueness of each park and their unique fauna and flora.
Our guides Francis followed by Simon were super. They were friendly, organized, punctual and very knowledgeable about all aspects of nature and Kenyan life. They also took excellent care of our vehicle making us feel safe at all times. They enhanced the experience and we were amazed at their ability to spot animals in the wild. We also appreciated their patience as one of our group members is an amateur photographer and she was constantly asking for different positioning of the vehicle to capture better pictures. Overall a superb trip and we feel lucky to have been able to participate. Great Job Rochar! HIghly recommended!

We are so pleased we traveled with Rochar! John was an amazing guide and friend who took great care of us and every day surprised us with something we hadn’t expected. We laughed our way through seeing the Big 5 twice and thoroughly enjoyed several bonus expeditions. We highly recommend Rochar, John, and Phinorah. You can’t go wrong with them.

They meet every need
Working with Rochar especially Phinorah has been so easy and an enjoyable experience. She is very responsive hard working to get us answers and works her hardest to satisfy our requests. My only tip would be to have it one level up with the small details. Like name plaques for when we arrive, picnic baskets/blankets for when we are having lunch drives. Ensuring the drivers are ready on the car ready to start the day. Showered and clean uniforms.
But that are small details. Overall Richard has been a great tour operator and will recommend them to friends and family.
Outstanding Safari
Our safari with Rochar was excellent! Kelvin our guide / driver was absolutely the best. He was so knowledgeable about the animals, birds, foliage, and the Masai culture. He made a wide effort to ensure we saw a variety of animals. The accommodations and the food were also outstanding. Overall the safari far exceeded our expectations and we were glad we selected Rochar over the other tour companies.

Perfect organisation and kindness
Phinorah was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire organization of our trip. She was always available, kind and attentive, answering all our questions and making sure all our needs were taken care of. Everything went perfectly and exactly as planned, which made the whole experience completely stress-free.
Simon, our safari guide, was truly amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional and reassuring, and he made our safari even more special by sharing his knowledge and helping us discover so many wonderful things.

Excellent and stress free travel
Phinorah was great as was our driver Frank. Very efficient and organized from the booking process to response times. Accommodation and transfers were well organized and stress free. Would highly recommend them and would book it again

Excellent tour, very professional, great service, amazing experience
This was an excellent tour. All was very professionally organized and communication was very clear. Our tour guide and driver, Konana, had a lot of experience and was willing to go the extra mile to fulfill our requests. He never rushed us, was very professional, always on time and also flexible to adapting the program any way we wanted and made great suggestions. The tour operator booked great hotels for the entire trip with great food. Overall it was a great service, and an amazing experience!

Once in a Lifetime
We are already planning our next trip - that is how unbelievably incredible it was. From getting off the plane we were taken care of by Philomena and Sam. They accommodated our every need and they were especially considerate and wonderful with our 14month old. Philomena, what a gem of a person. We needed help with visas last minute (our parent brain mush just let it slip) she sorted us out in less than 24hours. I landed and needed a hospital for our baby, she called around and found the right place that we needed to go. I had so much guilt about being difficult guests and she just smiled and put me at ease with her kind words! Her efforts for us on a Saturday in the middle of Niarobi, I was blown away and so grateful for her.
For me Kenya was a bucket list destination and man it didn’t disappoint - it was unforgettable and it was down to the people who made it happen. When you are in a car allll day, you really get to know the person guiding you. We got to know Sam and we adore him! His wealth of knowledge and his eagle eyes for spotting animals is incredible. His kindness, banter and ability to be comfortable in silence is our kind of company. He told us at the start of the trip that we would see lion everyday, coming from South Africa and visiting the Kruger my whole life I thought that this was optimistic but Sam was true to his word. Everyday we saw cats, multiple prides in a day. We were only there for 4 days and I saw more in that time than my entire life going to the Kruger - I was blown away. We saw absolutely everything and had magnificent moments where we were the only vehicle sitting with animals. When we return we will go with Sam again. He is truly the BEST! And if you have small children - this man looks out for them as if they are his own. He catered his driving to our little one, stopped whenever we needed too, soothed her when she cried and called her the strongest girl in the world. His patience with her was so endearing and I honestly was so grateful for it.
I could go on but the bottom line is we weren’t there for long enough and we cannot wait to go back. We left a piece of our hearts in Kenya and with all the people we met. Ashe Mara, ashe oleng!
