An exciting and endlessly memorable magical journey
5/5

1. Itinerary: June 18 - June 26,
1.2. Entry through Kenya, then travel to Tanzania, and return to Kenya (in retrospect, it would have been better to enter Kenya and exit through Tanzania).

3. Site Review:
3.1 Lake Nakuru National Park / Lake Nakuru Lodge: The accommodation was excellent, the environment first-class, and the scenery beautiful; warthogs and zebras drink water in the pond next to the restaurant, and birds fly around... It was my first time seeing elephants, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and zebras in the wild.
3.2 Amboseli National Park / Praro Amboseli: It is recommended to stay for 2 nights, as the accommodation is very good and herds of elephants can be seen everywhere... lions sleeping... Since we only stayed one night, there wasn’t enough time to photograph the distant mountains and animals.
3.3 Tarangire National Park / Ikumbi Safari Lodge: Due to the presence of a volcano, this area has unique landforms. Bright sunshine alternates with continuous mists, creating scenes where water and sky blend or burst into vibrant colors. Various small animals roam freely, unaware they are being watched by lions, while flamingos feed elegantly and rest in a distinctive manner, making the experience profoundly beautiful all together.
3.4 Central Serengeti National Park / Tukaone Serengeti Camps: It is recommended to stay 2-3 nights. During the migration season, the movements of wildebeest and zebra herds differ. In June-July, it is advisable to be near the Masai Mara River. During this visit, due to the start of animal migrations, finding the Big Five requires guided safaris led by Frank & Alex, relying on their experience and courage. We especially saw leopards, large herds of unusually handsome zebras, and various birds. At this time, humans are no longer special but merely participants in nature.

Summary: Africa's climate is very suitable for safari, with significant temperature differences between morning and evening, so sun and dust protection is necessary. The local professional safari company (*Rioba Safaris) left a strong impression with their expertise and responsibility, provided that one knows what kind of safari is desired; even last-minute itinerary changes can be handled properly (including variations in airport departures or arrivals). For flights, it is recommended to choose international airlines (such as Qatar Airlines). Although accommodation and food are somewhat limited by local conditions, they have their distinctive charm. Social security is generally safe, and foreigners are treated very friendly, especially the Maasai people and their way of life. The acts of kindness from the guide Frank towards them were particularly touching. We also purchased some of their local specialty products (paintings and jewelry are very interesting). We would definitely visit again if given the chance.

Communication was great!
5/5

We had an amazing experience going on a 2-days safari tour, with flights, in Tanzania from Zanzibar. The stay at Ikumbi Lodge was amazing and the communication with Joseph couldn’t be better!
