Josana is reliable and respond quickly. Their offer is the best.
I chose the 8day tour in Kenya, the Safari is totally amazing. Our driver and guide Anthony is nice and experienced, he can identify animals from long distance, and give us a lot of introduction of the animals. He is also very patient, So our group have the luck to see the lions mating and white rhinos in close distance. It's amazing experience in lifetime.
I chose budget accommodation, so accommodation is just so-so, but it's better than it shows in photos. And the price is good. It's a shared tour, everyone is so nice.and it's nice to meet people from all over the world.

Great time with Josana Tours
Great value for money on this tour. Most of the other tours I saw were quite a bit more expensive. Joseph was great at helping us at getting everything organized and helped us when we wanted to move the safari forward one day at the last moment. The lodging and food was all very good and we saw lots of animals. There were a couple of days where the organization could have been improved (e.g. waiting for other members to join our group or do the lake tour that we had already done), but overall everything went very well and it was an amazing experience. A good organized tour with breathtaking animal sightings.
The whole experience was very well organized so that everything ran smoothly, and we had really fantastic game drives. We did a tour consisting of three parts (1. Kenya safari, 2. Tanzania safari, 3. hike on Mount Kenya). All sections and all transfers were well organized and everything worked without a problem. It was great that the organizer could be reached 24/7 via WhatsApp or telephone. The entire experience was breathtakingly beautiful, and I can only recommend everyone to come to Kenya and choose this tour guide.

Mixed costumer service and drivers
An honest review - We had a mixed experience with Josana Tours. They are a good company when things are going smoothly but their costumer service is poor when there are issues or things go wrong. We booked the 7 day 6 night safari. The communication before the trip with Joseph was great. 5 out of the 7 days were a positive enjoyable experience unfortunately our last two days were not. We had 4 drivers overall - 2 were very good and 2 were not. Jason was an excellent driver/guide - we had an amazing safari in
Massai Mara. Overall the food was okay-some places better than others - we got sick from one of the lunches. Our last two days, we had a very negative experience with aggressive and hostile drivers. Our full game drive in Ambolsi finished 2 and 1/2 hours earlier than others which led to us missing out on seeing lions and other animals. We spent over 1 hour 10minute sitting in a lodge and then an hour lunch break. We had very little time game driving. The driver was also very rude and uninterested. I contacted Joseph and unfortunately there wasn't much done to rectify the situation or a solution provided. He did apologise for the situation the following day but a client in another company received compensation. If I was booking again I feel I would use a different company as there are many in the same price range and they do the same route. We had a mix of companies in our vans. We thought we were unlucky with the situation that took place however in our taxi to the airport we met others who also experienced bad drivers and bad game drives with the same company. I feel the how a company responds to unexpected changes or incidents shows their strenght and unfortunately Josana Tours were very weak in this area, which isn't what you want when booking a trip.

Very helpful, welcoming and open tour coordinator
We booked through Josana Tours our all around Kenya and Tanzania tour and were really happy through the support through all national parks. It was never a problem to reach Joseph and he was always helpful and welcoming.

Reliable
I was hesitated when booking this safari, but it came out as I expected, in general. The price is fair for budget tour, and we saw all the animals. The company took care of all the transportations. We had several drivers and vehicles during the 12 days tour, most of them were good except one, whom the company replaced for us with another driver upon our request. We had buffets in Kenya, and freshly cooked food by our private cooker in Tanzania, which was luxurious. Bring soap and towel and maybe bathroom tissue if you are camping in Tanzania. Don’t pay the safari with credit card. I was charged more than 10% extra in total. Cash or bank transfer is better.
