Great tour, great guide
We really loved our tour with Evans.
He was always keen to find all the animals we wanted to see, and was always patient when we wanted to spend more time watching them.

Fantastic 6-day safari with Green Place Adventures made truly special by our wonderful guide, Alex!
We had a fantastic six-day safari through the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha with Green Place Adventures, made truly special by our wonderful guide, Alex.
From start to finish, Alex was friendly, calm and incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel relaxed while sharing his deep understanding of the animals and Kenya. He was an excellent driver with an amazing eye for spotting wildlife, and he always made sure we had the best possible views, staying with sightings for as long as we wanted. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see four of the Big Five (just the elusive leopard missing), along with countless other incredible animals. His impeccable English and warm personality made every day a pleasure, and we also loved learning a few Swahili phrases from him.
The safari vehicle was a very comfortable 2-wheel-drive Hiace, perfect for the two of us, with plenty of space and great visibility. All the booking was handled via WhatsApp with Elijah, who went above and beyond to include everything we wanted. He was flexible when our plans changed, communicated clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The accommodation was lovely and offered plenty of vegetarian options.
We had an amazing time and it was great vakue for moneh. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Green Place Adventures again when we next return to Kenya.

A very professional and well organised company that above and beyond and exceeded our expectations
I would like to thank Elijah and Jackston for making our visit to Kenya an unforgettable experience. From my first contact with Elijah he was very responsive, professional and helpful. He did everything possible to ensure that the trip was planned to ensure the best possible outcome for us. Being our first time booking a tour in Africa we had some reservations with regards to scams. Elijah was completely transparent and did everything possible to ensure we were comfortable with our payment method. Once the trip commenced I had an unexpected hospital visit which Elijah and Jackston personally ensured I was well looked after. Elijah then reorganised our itinerary on the go so that we were able to continue our trip with the minimum amount of disruption and ensured that travel times were conducive to my recovery. We would have no hesitation in recommending Green Places Adventures. One thing we would advise other travellers is to be mindful of road conditions in Kenya. Upgrade your vehicle to the best you can afford and be aware that the roads are extremely rough and travel times are a lot longer than you are used to.
Thank you Green Places Adventures once again for making this bucket list adventure the trip of a lifetime.
Best safari we took while in Kenya
We took a private safari with Green places adventures to Samburu. We had some specific things we wanted to do and we liaised directly with the owner Elijah. We purposely didn’t go through a third party for any of our trip. Elijah was very accommodating of our requests in addition to the actual safari including a trip to Retetei Elephant Orphanage the highlight of our trip. He gave us a range of accommodation options and we chose the cheapest lodge accommodation which was absolutely gorgeous retreat after being out on safari. Elijah met us at our hotel in Nairobi to introduce us to our guide Evan. Even was a gentle natures and very experienced guide whose knowledge of the area and the wildlife was extensive. He was also knowledgeable about the culture and politics when we asked about the region. Evan was a calm and confident guide that was very committed to ensuring we saw a diversity of animals. Unbeknown to us he’d heard that there was a pride of lions. Evan knew to anticipate their movements and rive ahead and waited for the lions to come to us which allowed us a very intimate experience with just one other car. Following this we saw an elephant bull and again he drove ahead cut the engine and as we were the only vehicle we were able to watch as the elephant grazed and walked past our vehicle. As it was observing us out of the corner of its eye a rabbit jumped out of the bush is was eating and startled the elephant who gave it a swipe with its trunk almost in annoyance. It was the sweetest thing. I had my 13 year son with me and he really looked up to Evan and even bought a beaded Swahili belt and to look like him.

Best Customised Samburu and Reteti Trip
Booked via WhatsApp from Australia. Elijah was very good with communication, understanding of our needs including our 13 year old son. Elijah emailed various options and quotes.
The trip went 100% to plan.
Evan our driver was very skilled in game drives and was also happy to stop when we saw goat herders on the side of the road.
Elijah met us at the start and finish of our trip to ensure we had everything we needed.
He provided us with great hats and a coffee mug.
The cost was very good and the vehicle was comfortable

Great people, personalized trip and a truly wild experience through Kenya!
During our stay in Kenya our driver Alex and our Italian guide Hussein contributed to maximize our experience and our future memories of this awesome holiday. Elijah created for us the entire itinerary according to our desires. We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and finally Amboseli park, spotted so many beautiful and wild animals that we could only have imagined before coming in Kenya. The structures choosen by Elijah were all beautiful and in strategic positions for our game drives, the organisation in few words was at top levels. We hope to come back in Kenya soon, this experience will remain in our memories for our entire life. Thank you Elijah, Alex and Hussein!

I would totally recommend this company and our driver!!!
Masai Mara was our highlight and already on the first evening we saw so many animals. Also our driver put so much effort into finding the animals we asked him for that was really appreciated.
The thing I would change about our tour is the one day Lake Nukuru part. It’s a long drive for only 2-3 hours in the park. For us it wasn’t worth it. I would totally recommend another day in Masai Mara or 2 days in Lake Nukuru to make the drive worth it.
Another highlight was the island visit after Lake Nukuru. Doing a walking safari was so much fun!! Would totally recommend to book on top if you visit Lake Nukuru in the end.
Also it ended up being very cold and even rainy so if you go in August it’s really important to bring warm clothes and a rain coat!

Green Place Adventures were great to work with. A friend recommended that I call Elijah to book a tour. I am glad that I did. We were able to add the things we were interested in seeing/ doing on our trip. I like that I was given the option to upgrade individual items which allowed me to get more luxury in some areas and choose more economically with other options. Elijah was responsive and helped me get the tour I had envisioned. Our driver James was knowledge and made sure we had a wonderful time. It was a trip of a lifetime which my family loved. The cost was very reasonable. My only regret was not having planned one a few days longer.
