An Unforgettable Safari Experience with Kalulu Safaris
Kalulu Safaris, what can I say about Amaniel and his incredible team? From the very first day we contacted them, we knew we had made the right choice.
We specifically wanted to book our safari with a local Tanzanian company, because we believed that local knowledge would make the experience more authentic and it absolutely did. Amaniel was incredibly responsive from the beginning, always answering within a few hours and taking the time to understand exactly what we wanted. He listened to our needs, concerns and budget and created an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to us.
Everything was extremely well organised. The lodges were carefully selected to make our daily safari drives as convenient as possible, and from the moment we were picked up at the airport, we felt completely looked after. Our guide also gave us valuable advice about what to avoid and how to stay safe and well throughout the trip.
But the safari itself completely exceeded our expectations.
Of course, no safari can ever be guaranteed because you cannot control nature or predict what the animals will do. Yet we saw everything we had hoped for and so much more than we could have ever imagined.
We saw the Big Five, experienced the Great Migration, witnessed an incredible moment when a crocodile attacked zebras, saw a lion attempting to take down its prey, came across cheetah, and even found a huge pride of more than 20 lions. And these are just some of the unforgettable moments we experienced.
What truly made the difference, however, was our guide’s knowledge, patience and dedication. He never rushed us. He was willing to wait, observe and give nature the time it needed. Because of this, we were able to witness some truly spectacular moments that we might otherwise have missed.
Another thing we absolutely loved was how private and personalised the safari felt. Our guide always tried to find the best possible spots and, whenever possible, kept us away from the crowds and large groups of safari vehicles. There were moments when it genuinely felt like we had the entire wilderness to ourselves.
After the safari, Amaniel also helped arrange our stay in Zanzibar, which was the perfect way to relax and unwind after such an intense and unforgettable experience in the wild.
This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and a huge part of that was because of Amaniel and the entire Kalulu Safaris team. Their professionalism, care, flexibility and genuine passion for what they do made our trip even more special.
Thank you, Amaniel, and the whole Kalulu Safaris team, for giving us memories we will never forget. We could not have asked for a better safari experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Kalulu Safaris to anyone dreaming of experiencing Tanzania. 🦁🐘🐆🌍

I honestly don’t know where to start when it comes to Amaniel. He organized everything for us exactly as we asked, and then went above and beyond to do so much more.
He is one of the kindest and most amazing people we have ever met. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, he made us feel completely safe and comfortable. We spent all our days with him without worrying about anything. We trusted him so much that we didn’t even know what day we were leaving — and when he told us that we had another day of safari, we went crazy with excitement! 😂
The safari experience was beyond amazing, and that is largely thanks to Amaniel and his driver, Ema. They both gave their absolute best to make our experience unforgettable. We saw all the animals we were hoping to see, and at no point did we feel unsafe. The conversations, the laughter, and all the little moments during the safari made the whole experience even more special.
Amaniel took care of everything, right down to the smallest detail. He truly did so much for us, and we appreciate it more than words can say.
He is not just an amazing safari guide — he became a friend and will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Our safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar with Kalulu Safaris was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our lives.
Everything was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. The beauty of the landscapes, the wildlife, and the feeling of being fully immersed in nature made every single day unique. Nothing felt rushed or touristy — it all felt real, calm, and deeply meaningful.

Once in a lifetime safari experience in Mainland Tanzania – Great Zanzibar Escape
We were thinking of a safari trip with my family for many months and the most important decision we took about it was to arrange this trip with Kalulu Safaris! Amani helped us to organize a full private trip for my family (2 adults and 2 children, 10 and 13 years’ old) in December 2024 and Kalulu Safaris’ team supported this trip all the way! We had the best safari experience in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire safari parks, where we saw all big 5 animals! Amani took care of all the bookings, so that our stay in very nice hotels was totally unforgettable! We experienced his presence, kindness, and support throughout the whole trip, having the chance to see also the local life! Kalulu also arranged for everything during our stay in Zanzibar! Tanzania (along with Zanzibar) is one of the most beautiful places that we have ever visited, and we would suggest to everybody to have this trip, organized by the best: Kalulu Safaris!

AMAZING EXPERIENCE IN TANZANIA
This trip of mine to Tanzania is one of the most beautiful and powerful experiences of my life. Amani played a decisive role in this with the Kalulu Safaris team. He organized us a private safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro (and yes, we saw all the big 5 animals of Africa 😁), a beautiful hike in the foothills of Kilimanjaro ending at an imposing waterfall (materuni), along with a coffee presentation, as well as volunteering at a school near Moshi. He is extremely kind and flexible and with a wide range of suggestions, which is why we were able to come up with what suited us and we could support financially as well. But what made the big difference, is that Amani was there for us for the entire time we stayed in Arusha (we stayed for 12 days), keeping us in mind, guiding us and showing us the life of the locals and this made us feel more familiar in this already beautiful country with wonderful people. I loved Tanzania and will definitely be back at some point. Amani, thank you for everything. You are wonderful ❤️
