Our recent family safari in Kenya organized by Rodgers from Viega Expeditions was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our stays at Sarova Mara Game Camp and Kibo Safari Camp were outstanding. Both properties offered beautiful accommodations, excellent service, delicious food, and a perfect balance of luxury and authentic safari experiences.
What impressed us most was how well this safari accommodated travelers of all ages. Everyone in our group—from the seniors to the youngest traveler—felt safe, comfortable, and fully engaged throughout the journey. Every game drive, sunset, and wildlife encounter felt magical.

Efficient and Professional
My family went on Safari with Viega Expeditions early in November and it was fantastic. Rodgers was so great to deal with and made us comfortable and we felt we were in good hands the entire time. Great Communication and follow up
In setting up a safari for my group, I came in contact with Rodgers O. who was impressive with his speed of response, options and various price points. He was effective at sharing all information, and provided absolute confidence that I was dealing with a professional and reputable company. He often shared info without even needing to ask for it, and remained in contact even after the contract was signed, looking for daily follow ups, and would inquire about how the safari was going, ensuring that the experience was what was expected. An Amazing Trip!
The booking process was intense with pressure to lock things in a pay the deposit quickly but that was not unique to Viega. Rodgers was very responsive and provided several itinerary options for us to consider. The quote was competitive and the accommodation options Rodgers suggested all looked good.
Despite being nervous about paying the deposit and the balance on arrival in Kenya, the trip itself made up for any reservations. Everything from the vehicle to the driver and the accommodations met or exceeded expectations and it was truly an unforgettable experience.

Great communication and a highly memorable family safari
We had a fantastic time on the 6 day family safari organized by Viega Expeditions.
The process of finding a tour operator and booking the trip was quite daunting, but I chose Viega because of the great communication from Rodgers from the time of initial contact right through the process.
He answered our many questions about the tour and the company and kept in regular contact as our bookings at the various lodges and camps were confirmed.
We were very happy with all of the accommodation options that Viega suggested and experienced a good mix of lodges and tented camps well suited to a family stay.
We were even more happy with our guide, Charles who was great company, an outstanding game spotter and a wealth of knowledge on all of the amazing wildlife we saw. He was very organized in terms of confirming daily plans and itineraries and made sure we had ample time to fully explore the three parks that we visited.
Rogers from Viega was also in daily contact during our trip to make sure everything was going well and that there was nothing we needed.
We’re very glad we overcame our initial reservations about booking with Viega due to the limited numbers of previous reviews we had to go on and will be taking home amazing memories, photos and recommendations for others to visit Kenya!

really good communication
The trip was phenomenal, the guide was the best ever! The hotels and hot air balloon were the best. The only hiccup was the itinerary needed some adjustments as a last day game drive wasn't allowed, although it was offered.

I understand that no one can predict how a Safari will go, but this one was amazing. And our guide Yusuph was so fantastic. He was attentive to our needs, fun to talk with and knew so much about the parks and the animals. We just adored him. Our accommodations were 1st class and we had an amazing experience.
