BEST experience with the BEST tour guides!
Mmilo tours are truly the BEST tour provider in South Africa. They have exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly tour guides, and they are also quite flexible being able to tailor the tours according to your needs and interests. I've had a wonderful and memorable experience in South Africa, thanks to Mmilo Tours - Patrick and my tour guides Anton and Norman.
Mr. Patrick was so helpful in providing me sufficient and detailed information in all my email inquiries about the tours. He was quick to reply and he always answered all my specific questions about the tours. He also helped me tailor the tours according to my needs and interests. My tour guides, Anton and Norman, are the best tour guides you can have. They are knowledgeable, friendly, experienced as tour guides and quite accommodating. They will definitely ensure that you'll have the best and most memorable experience in South Africa.
I have booked 3 tours with Mmilo Tours - a half-day tour in Johannesburg and a half-day tour in Soweto and a day tour to Pilanesberg National Park. Anton was my guide during the two half-day tours in Joburg and Soweto, and Norman was my guide to Pilanesberg. The half-day tours with Anton were exceptional - we were able to visit around 10-12 tourist attractions/landmarks for each day, and Anton had a lot of knowledge about these places - I truly learnt a lot and it made my stay in South Africa more meaningful and fun! He was also quite flexible and would adjust the program according to my preferences.
Mr. Norman was my guide in the Pilanesberg park, and he is the best guide you can have in doing a game drive. He was excellent and quick in spotting the animals, he knew all the names of the animals, even all the types of birds, the type of plants/trees, etc. We have seen lots of animals already during our first 2 hours (out of 6 hours game drive in total) in the park and we have even seen 4 of the big 5 already during these first two hours, thanks to Norman! I have at least listed 20 types of animals (excluding the birds) which we have seen during the safari! It was an amazing experience to see a lot of animals in a short time. Mr. Norman also took me to a quick tour in Pretoria - he taught me a lot about the place.
Both Anton and Norman were very helpful and fun to be with! I would definitely recommend Mmilo Tours, more specifically, Anton and Norman, as your guides. They have made my stay in South Africa truly enjoyable and memorable - such a wonderful experience!

Amazing Way to Spend a Day! The Big 5 before 10am
Despite my calling at the last minute Patrick and Willem were able to organize my short notice trip to Pilanesberg. Willem pick me up at the hotel promptly at 4:30am and on our way to the park we had a great chat about the world in general and South Africa (past and present) specifically . We had incredible luck due to Willem's knowledge of the park and his network of friends we were able to see the big 5 before 10am. We saw much more than that and have the incredible photos to show for it. It was a magical day with all the beauty of Africa on display and insights provided by a willing and expert guide. Lunch at the lodge capped a great day. My only regret is it wasn't longer. Can't wait to do 3 or 4 days in Kruger next time Willem! Highly recommend.

Trip of a Lifetime
After accepting an invitation to attend a professional conference in South Africa, I researched tours to supplement my trip. My goal was to see as many animals as possible. The positive reviews of Mmilo Tours led me to book with them, and it was a great decision. Easy to communicate with and fast response times, along with easy online payment. I traveled solo and was concerned about safety. Having a dedicated guide pick me up at my hotel put me at ease. I booked two tours with Mmilo, both led by Willem who is very knowledgeable and showed me so much. One tour was the day-long Pilanesberg Game Reserve and the other was another day-long tour of smaller animal refuges. I was game for side trips, and Willem drove us through Hartbeespoort Dam and other off the beaten path scenery. I appreciated that Willem communicated with me via WhatsApp once I landed in SA, so I never worried about pickups at the hotel. Patrick gave me a great tip about getting an early morning breakfast from my hotel, and I'm grateful for that tip because it's not something I would have thought of on my own! I added an extra tour last minute and it was no problem for Mmilo to accommodate me. I researched many tour companies before going with Mmilo and I'm absolutely happy that I did and recommend them to others. Will absolutely use again.

A pleasant one-day safari
We appreciate the speed of response the company answered our emails. Our guide, Willem, was great. He met us at the airport when our flight arrived at 4am. He was very informative about the safari, animals, and country in general. He made an great effort to look for animals. Overall, we were very pleased with the company and our guide, and happy to recommend them to future travelers.

Brilliant private tour... Williem was amazing and had all the knowledge we could expect.
We even got a brief history of South Africa and the park. The highligh was the baby rhino we spotted... Most memorable...
Got 3/5 Big 5 but was an amazing experience. Will go again to cross out the other 2.

I had anexcellent safari trip to Pilanesberg
Everything was smooth with Mmilo tours. They answered all emails within an hour. We had an excellent guide (Paul) who made sure that we got to see elephants, rhino, giraffes, zebras, impalas etc.

The safari in Botswana was perfect in every detail, the attention to the quality, support before and throughout the trip have been exemplary: it was our first time in Botswana so we wanted to have our trip organized by a company we trusted. Mmilo Tours have confirmed the good trust we have placed in them, they have given all the info we required in order to get prepared in advance, which was very important for us given it was our first safari. Excellent tour operator, great guides
Mmilo Tours organized a Safari tour to Pilanesberg Park where we stayed at Bakubung Bush Lodge. Our private guide picked us up at our hotel in Pretoria. In the car on the way to Pilanesberg we learned a lot about South Africa, the Safari park and the animals, so when we arrived to the park we were well prepared. The hours we spent together in the car we learned much more. The guide was enthusiastic and very well prepared.
Bakubung Bush Lodge is an excellent place to stay. We wish we would have more time, we could easily have spent one more night.
The last day our guide drove us to our hotel in Johannesburg.
Everyting arranged by Mmilo Tours was well organized, accommodation suggested by them was excellent choices.
