Kilimanjaro - 7 Day Rongai Route
We could not have had a better experience with E-Trip. Every single detail of the trip, from before we arrived, through our departure from Tanzania, was covered with extreme attention and care. Our guides, Caspar and Prosper, were incredible. They had years of experience, and kept us in good spirits and great health all the way to the top. They were treated like celebrities by the other guides and porters on our route...Clearly they are the among the best at what they do. The porters, all supported by KPAP, were engaging, hard working, hilarious, and eager to be our friends while we were on the mountain. They kept our spirits high and added so much to the experience. We were truly sad to leave the team when we had finished the climb. When I go back, I will undoubtedly be climbing with E-Trip, and I have recommended them wholeheartedly to friends and family. Just exchange a few emails with Ben and the rest of the team, and you will quickly see how much they care about you and the quality of your experience. Karen even visited us after our climb to get feedback on our experience. This represents their commitment to the client experience. I cannot say enough positive things about E-Trip, and hope I have represented them well in this review. They made a once in a lifetime experience truly perfect.

Amazing first safari
I had an absolutely amazing experience during my first safari with etrip. Couldnt have been more satisfied with both the service and arrangements. Came in from China more than 24 hours delayed to Nairobi and almost missed my connection flight from Wilson where my trip would start. I sent email to Ben and Aurelie on my way down and they kept contact and tracked my detour until I finally reached Nairobi. They did their outmost to make sure I felt calm and make all possible changes so I wouldnt miss any of the experience. Including to find and take care of my lost luggage and making sure it arrived safely to the camp. I really appreciated the personal and friendly treatment from both Ben and Aurelien. I can strongly recommend etrip to everyone who are planning their first safar tripi. You will be in safe hands for sure.
Amazing Kili Treak with E-Trip
We had an AMAZING trek with E-Trip. Ben was extremely helpful and responsive and made sure all of our questions were answered before we left. We stayed at the Stella Maris lodge in Moshi for one night before starting our hike. It is a non-profit that supports a primary school of the same name that mainly serves children who were orphaned in the area. Teddy and the whole staff was amazing and we were thrilled to be supporting such an important cause. Didn't hurt that there were so many adorable kids running around during the day.
The trek itself (7 day Rongai) went off without a hitch. Casper and Prosper, our guides, were knowledgeable, kind, and always VERY on top of our safety. They measured the oxygen saturation of our blood and listened to our lungs each morning, which I didn't see any other companies doing. All three in our group summited, and that was undoubtedly due to the AMAZING support of our team. They even carried our day packs near the top when we were truly struggling for oxygen, and were so encouraging.
The porters were also an incredible group and really made our trip outstanding. It should be noted that E-Trip is part of KPAP (Kili Porters Assistance Project) and YOU SHOULD NOT CLIMB WITH A COMPANY THAT ISN'T PART OF THIS ORGANIZATION! Our porters were happy, well treated, and carrying reasonable (though still large) loads. Some of the other companies we saw (Zara tours, in particular) had porters that were obviously not receiving the same kind of treatment. Although many of the companies that are not part of KPAP are slightly cheaper, in speaking with the porters, it became very evident that it was not worth it to save the relative expense given what you would be condoning in doing so.
We truly could not have been happier with E-Trip. They were well organized, knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, etc etc etc. I truly cannot sing their praises enough and would highly recommend planning a trek with them.

They made planning easy and delivered exactly as planned.
Planning our trip to Africa seemed daunting and confusing at first. Working with Ben and Aurelie helped me focus on getting the exact experience we wanted. They were responsive immediately to my many questions. Their attention was personal and the follow-up on requests showed a great attention to detail. Ben and our driver/guide Yusuph met us at Kilimanjaro Airport to welcome us and take us to our hotel in Arusha. We were exhausted from the long flights and felt well taken care of. Our safari experience was wonderful and Yusuph was kind, thoughtful, protective and very knowledgeable. Somehow, Ben and Aurelie managed to understand exactly what we were looking for in accommodations, because they chose perfect lodges and hotels for both the safari and the added trip to Zanzibar. Every detail delivered to us met or exceeded our expectations. Not one detail was overlooked.
I have traveled extensively and do most of my own planning. I am so happy that I found e-TripAfrica to assist me with planning and experiencing this trip of a lifetime. Many, many thanks to Ben, Aurelie and Yusuph.

I had a great Kilimanjaro hike & Serengeti trek with eTrips Africa
The team running eTrips was very professional, though we did have a problem with my brother's visa that they should know about. Our 2 guides were fantastic

A superbly executed tour down to the last detail. Our guide, Yusuph, was fantastic!
From the first contact with E-trip, we had an excellent experience. Ben is extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions with patience and confidence. Every transfer, meal, and accommodation, was handled beautifully. Ben helped us balance cost and extravagence in every part of the trip by breaking down each expense. I greatly appreciated being able to build the safari that was exactly right for us. The best part of the trip was our guide Yusuph. He knew every animal, bird, and plant. He answered all our questions about identification, animal behavior, geology, culture, and history. Yusuph knew exactly how to position the vehicle to get the right lighting for our photography and to have the best views of the animals. On several occasions he moved the vehicle to the perfect spot so the lions and leopards came directly towards us! Unbelievable pictures! Yusuph worked extremely hard to make sure we saw all that we wanted to, including driving for long hours to the western boarder of the Serengeti to make sure we saw huge herds of wildebeest. Our safari and our whole experience with E-trip exceeded our wildest expectations!

Superb Tour Company for Kilimanjaro Treks
From the beginning, E-Trip Africa did a tremendous job for our trek up Kilimanjaro. Our head guide August was thorough, yet friendly, and did a great job guiding our (for me) rather large party up the mountain. He met with us pre-trek to go over our gear and made suggestions about what we might have forgotten. E-Trip Africa made available any equipment we might need. Each day, August fully explained what we would face to start, was always ready to talk about hiking issues at night, and never forgot to test our blood oxygen levels at our evening and morning meals (concerned about our health and well being). If individuals were slower than the main party in climbing, assistant guides were assigned to be with them. August monitored all parties by hiking back and forth, and demonstrated concern for all trekkers. Food for the trek was excellent, and the accommodations were also: a tent for each one or two trekkers, beautiful dining tent with wonderful eating utensils, and hot drinks at all meals. The assistant guides were wonderful too. For those who had to go down in the middle of the trek because of low oxygen levels, these assistants handled trekkers capably and patiently, with transportation back to guesthouses punctual and rapid. If I were to return to Tanzania to do another trek, E-Trip Africa would be my first choice for a touring company.
Great service and value!
Ben and his team did a wonderful job customizing our itinerary for a trip to Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. We climbed Kili, went on safari, hiked to gorillas, rode horses, whitewater rafted... It was quite the adventure. They were very responsive over both phone and email. In addition to great service, E-Trip Africa also offered great value. They were one of the few agents that itemized our costs so we could see what exactly we were paying for and decide where to splurge vs. save. They helped us meet our budget while have a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Very personal contact, very good value for money, price transparency,
Everything was perfectly organized. We had a special tour coming from Rwanda and starting a Safari at Mwanza endig in Arusha). And for ex. our driver Fred frisky, enjoyable and cautious (it's a must).
We specially appreciated two issues: price transparency (many other offers we asked for had just a price we couldn't comprehend) and the fact that etrip cooperates with small lokal providers. That made our trip at least a little bit sustainable. (There are f.e. huge Indian providers).
We even where helped by Ben (general manager), when our trip had already ended: the day after we had lost our connecting flight to Zanzibar we had booked by our self (let it book by Ben's at local partners!). Ben procured a convenient accommodation in Arusha and even spent with us the evening in a Ethiopian restaurant, very kind.
So we would book without doubt again with etrip.

Awesome Safari Adventure!
I highly recommend E-Trip Africa for your Kenyan Safari adventure. I have been to Kenya on safari many times and these folks were better than any other tour operators I have used before. Communication was excellent and timely. Adjustments were made several times to our itinerary due to changes I requested and all changes were made quickly and accurately. They put together a top notch safari trip with excellent lodging choices, guides and vehicles. No surprises came up with their pricing. We even got to meet up with one of the owners in Nairobi just so he could see how our trip was going. I highly recommend E-Trip Africa.
Jambo!
