Fantastic Trip - Well organised and tailored to our liking
5/5

Two females travelling Rwanda for 8 days. The trip was tailored exactly to our request and everything was extremely well organised with daily itineraries, hotel details and contact numbers as well as emergency numbers for the Agency. I was extremely impressed and plan to go back to East Africa next year with the assistance of E-Trip Africa. We had a great selection of hotels and activities and not a single glitch throughout the trip. ETrip Africa know what they are doing when it comes to the region! They have clearly traveled the area and are familiar with the field and organise your trip accordingly. They have access to great Guides on the ground which is critical. We had an amazing guide, Kevin, with us for the entire duration. He was friendly and full of interesting and useful information and was able to talk to us about our political, historical, environmental and social curiosities about Rwanda.

One of the best organised trips with friendly, accommodating and pleasant agents - everything was simple and easy and they will ensure all is taken care of and well organised so you can enjoy completely worry free. Sent them a lot of emails with questions and they were extremely responsive with all queries. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend ETrip Africa and highly recommend Rwanda - dont let the press and general perceptions misguide you. The country is one of the cleanest, most efficient, friendliest, socially developed and safest countries I have travelled (and I have travelled to approx 50 countries).

The pre-trip communication was beyond expectations. Our guide in Kenya was excellent. The accommodations were memorable.

Incredible trip! Fun, well-organised, and memorable.
5/5

We've just arrived back in London with huge smiles on our faces and a reel of incredible photos to remember our journey by.

While the accommodations and the activities were both fantastic, it was really our guide who made the trip. Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful and a safe driver. It became a quick comfort to be picked up by him for early morning briefs and to see him waiting as we would return from our activities during the day.

ETrip is fantastic for its flexibility and customization when it comes to building an itinerary, and I really appreciate the ease with which we were able to communicate. We'll definitely recommend to any family or friends wishing to embark on an Africa trip in the future.

5 days in the Masai Mara
5/5

We were met at our hotel by Ben who accompanied us to Wilson Airport and answered any questions we had about Kenya and our safari. We were given an information pack that told us all we needed to know about the schedule, the camp, tipping recommendations, etc. After the safari we were collected at Wilson and dropped off back at our hotel. All in all it was a very professional and pleasant experience. I would gladly recommend E-Trip Africa to friends and family who are booking a holiday.

Mount Kilimanjaro - Awesome Experience made possible by a great group
5/5

This July I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, something I had never thought I would do. Thank you E-Trip Africa for making this possible and for my success in achieving the summit. Our lead guide, August, I cannot praise enough, he is the embodiment of a great leader; someone you trust with your safety and can motivate a person to reach their full capabilities and personal goals. On the mountain, he seemed to be the most respected individual for his leadership and judgement by all the other Trek groups. The Assistant Guides Ignas and Francis were outstanding. The Cook and Porters and everyone else assisting us were outstanding, you could not ask for a better team.

Prior to the trip, working with the Trip Coordinator, Ben, he gave an excellent summary of expectations and preparation work for making the hike and improving our success odds. Once in Tanzania, we met at the Hotel Stella Maris, for a briefing with our lead guide August and assistant guide Ignas, this included a review of what to expect, an equipment check and final preparations for the hike. We woke up the next day and drove to the starting point and began our Trek. Throughout the trek the Guides, cooks and porters were always in a great mood and ready to help, summit night and day, every one of them was ready to make sure we were safe and prepared to make a successful summit and return.

I will look back on this achievement fondly and knowing that E-Trip Africa and Kilimanjaro Guides, cooks and porters we went with made it possible and achievable. Thank you.

We had an amazing Safari, the guides were very knowledgeable (Amiri) an made sure we saw the Big 5!!
5/5

We were very impressed with the whole booking process from visa information, flights information through to the itinerary organised by E-trip. Our whole safari ran smoothly with the highlight being Serengeti. Our guide in Serengeti spoke excellent English and had extensive knowledge about the wildlife and their habits and we were very lucky to have seen the Big 5. Disappointed in Tarangire, as mostly only elephants and we had already seen plenty in Serengeti. Would not recommend Tarangire instead maybe do Masai Mara.

My first Safari
5/5

As my title states, this was my first safari but I travelled with a friend with years of safari experience. We had a customized trip. E-trip Safari catered to our every need and helped with every aspect of our trip. It was an experience of a life time and I have nothing but my highest recommendations to give.

E-trip provided wonderful service, an excellent guide, and a truly wonderful experience.
5/5

Ben and Aurelie Jennings, the tour operators, were fantastic. We had to postpone our original trip and there was no problem. We were welcomed in Arusha by the Jennings and a wonderful lady (Jo) from J & J Guesthouse. Our driver, Amiri, was not only very personable, but thoroughly knowledgeable in all aspects for our trips to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, knowing both the identities and ecology of the animals (including birds), geology, history, plants, culture, etc. Ben provided us with very nice Zeiss binoculars which made game viewing so great (better than the binocs that I had taken), as well as books about the wildlife and ecology. The trips to all three places were unbelievably fantastic, and we just couldn't get over everything we saw. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, around the next corner were three lionesses sleeping in a tree next to the road. Ben also scheduled a trip to Ruaha NP in southern Tanzania, which was different compared to the Serengeti, but also wonderful. He had suggested Mdonya Old River Camp, and it too was wonderful. Our guide and driver there were also fantastic, and we identified another 80 species of birds (in addition to the 100 from the other 3 parks), and even got to see African wild hunting dogs. I can't say enough good things about the entire trip, and would highly recommend using e-trip, which provided so many good recommendations, great scheduling, and fantastic people and accommodations for the safaris.

Amazing Safari!
5/5

My sisters and I planned our safari in Tanzania though E-Trip Africa and could not have been more pleased every step of the way! Ben helped up plan our itinerary and was so helpful. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us several options for lodging in the three parks where we stayed (Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the central Serengeti). I also appreciated the transparency of cost...it was the only travel company that broke down the costs for the safari line by line. We looked into three other safari companies and they all were more expensive for the exact same or slightly inferior lodgings!

After a long wait to get our visas in Tanzania, we were happily surprised to see that Ben and Amiri were there to greet us! On our way to our hotel in Arusha, Ben filled us in on what to expect on the safari and answered all of our questions. It immediately put us at ease and we were excited to begin our adventure.

As for the safari experience itself, we felt SO lucky to have Amiri as our driver and guide. He is an expert at identifying animals, animal behavior, foliage, cultural history, etc. We learned so much during our game drives with him! He was able to spot game very far away that we easily missed. We saw many lions, several leopards, a couple of cheetahs, and a wide assortment of other animals thanks to his eagle eyes! Amiri was so pleasant and accommodating. Each morning we would go over a game plan for the day with Amiri. We were never disappointed! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our game drives...even on the bumpy dusty roads.

Our accommodations were superb and were even better than what we had expected. Many thanks to Ben for recommending The Roving Bushtops camp in the central Serengeti. After I had told him what type of accommodation we wanted to stay in while in the bush, he gave me a short list of places we might like. They all looked great, but we ended up choosing a newer camp--The Roving Bushtops. It was our favorite lodging, and I'm glad we had three nights there to enjoy all that the camp had to offer!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Ben and Amiri! Every expectation we had was surpassed--from the lodgings to the game drives to the kindness of the Tanzanian people we met along the way. I would highly recommend E-Trip Africa to anyone planning a safari--you will definitely be in good hands!
