A Tour Operator that listen to the client needs and requests
5/5

We were fortunate to book a 5-day Moremi and Chobe National Park trip with four friends, and it turned out to be an incredible adventure.

Our guide, TC, was outstanding—helpful, friendly, and without a doubt the best animal spotter we could have hoped for. We spent more time driving than we initially expected, but this actually enhanced the experience, as it gave us the opportunity to see even more wildlife and enjoy the stunning landscapes.

The team handling the cooking and logistics was fantastic, and the variety and quality of the food exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the tea break by a lake with hippos at around 10 a.m., complete with freshly baked muffins.

The beds were comfortable, and the overall camping experience was very enjoyable.

The only areas for improvement would be the toilet facilities and, potentially, an upgrade to the vehicle. Aside from that, everything was exceptionally well organized, and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience.

Travel Creations Botswana A++ (David, Machine and the Crew)
5/5

We spent 20 days with Travel Creations Botswana...going from Maun north to Kasane. We started communicating with David early (a year in advance), and he was always polite, fast to respond and incorporated all our suggestions (eg., avoid the pans near Maun in the dry/hot season). Along the route, he met us a time or two to deliver supplies we requested (diet ginger soda; toothpaste; soap and a better inverter for the car battery so we had electricity to charge phones/camera batteries etc). We would highly recommend bringing Starlink (and share it with the staff. Since we were in the middle of nowhere for 20 days, being in communication with people back home, or knowing the News - that was essential. And because the staff was away from their families, they could keep in touch with their kids and wives). The cook, MACHINE, is truly amazing - the food was incredible - and varied. We don't know how he did it over an open fire (especially the fresh bread) - it was great...we never went hungry or disappointed...and had desert almost every night was well. Our recommendations: do your research on where you want to go - and how much time to spend in each place We liked Savuti, Moremi...less so Kwhai. The Mokoro (boats) on the water were fun - but for 2 trips only. Finally, we saw others who payed much more for similar trips with similar safari companies - about the only thing the extra money got was a nicer (newer) vehicle. Save your money, and go with Travel Creations Botswana - they are efficient, hard working - will look out for your best interests...and easy to work with. David is great...Machine is the best cook...and bring a headlamp that has a red light setting (so at night you don't attract insects when eating or walking). Travel Creations delivered the experience we wanted!
5/5

My wife and I wanted to experience true wilderness camping in Botswana, and Travel Creations delivered just that. Camping for two nights in Chobe at the Mababe depression, then two nights at Khwai concession, we were able to get that experience. With just the two of us and our incredibly knowledgeable and very amiable guide Jame, riding around in an open Land Cruiser, our minds were blown by the landscape, the weather, the people, and most certainly the animals. At camp was a friendly camp hand (Jomo) and a talented camp chef (Ona). They set up our spacious tent (with ensuite) and comfortable dining area, waiting after each game drive to serve us the most delicious meals. The food and service they provided was lodge-quality, but we were in the bush! If you are looking for a genuine, reasonably priced, private multi-day mobile safari experience with an expert guide and fantastic service, I would highly recommend Travel Creations Botswana.

Botswana up close and personal
5/5

We were a party of five who spent two weeks under the excellent care of Travel Creations Botswana in a mobile tented safari from Maun to Victoria Falls. Right from the outset organizing an itinerary David’s flexibility and super quick responses including rescheduling as Botswana has just had the wettest summer in decades (Moremi closed at short notice) were very impressive.
The team included a guide and driver, a cook and two others to set up camp and they all did a magnificent job. All conveyed that their goal was to make our trip comfortable and memorable. The catering for vegetarians was also very well done.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the game and also the birdlife and trees of the area. Due to the experience of our guide and good tracking we were able to find lion and wild dogs and even a leopard pair mating.
For those not looking for the luxury of a lodge but the sheer enjoyment of being alone in the bush with local people with whom one can connect I can unreservedly recommend this local Maun company. The tented mobile safari offered was in all aspects a great experience.
A big thanks to Screamer, Machine, Jomo and Ona, and of course David.

A wonderful day lead by a knowledgeable guide.
5/5

We joined a 1-day safari to the Moremi Game Reserve from Maun. We were collected promptly from our hotel for the drive to the Moremi Game Reserve. Although we visited during the ‘wet’ season when the animals are dispersed, we were shown an excellent variety of both fauna and flora. The highlights for us were spotting a cheetah resting under a tree, 3 jackal cubs playing under a bush, a small herd of batchelor elephant bulls bullying a lone hippopotamus bull in a watering hole and African Painted Dogs. We also saw plenty of elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, impala, waterbuck, red lechwe, baboon and numerous wild fowl.

Our guide took great care of us, ensuring all our questions were answered, and more importantly that we were well fed and watered. He was very knowledgeable of the environment and was always willing to broaden the discussion to explain the various interactions between the various animals, plants, etc, bringing the terrain to life. He also had excellent all-terrain driving skills which are necessary for the park roads.

We were returned to our hotel at the scheduled time.

Am area for improvement is eye-care for the guides. Vision is all important in life, and it would be re-assuring to know that the guides have been trained in care of their eyes, both while game-spotting in the harsh African sun and while driving without windscreen protection. I offer this advice having being raised in Africa as a child when the perceived wisdom was not to provide children to ‘toughen-up’ their eyes; needless to say my eyes were damaged and I have already had to have cataract surgery on both eyes.

excellent safari experience
5/5

We were able to organize this from Australia with minimal fuss. David was quick to respond and was able to accomodate our preferences. Our Guide Ookedisae did an excellent job of tracking the game and we saw a great variety of animals each day. Highlights were seeing a wild dog hunt, a leopard and her cub plus lots and lots of lions. The hippos come very close to camp at night and we even had honey badgers visit!! The mokoro ride was magical and our polers were very entertaining. We were also very spoilt by having Oonah as our cook and Bats-man as his offsider. The food was delicious and I was astounded by what these guys could prepare, including fresh bread daily. We had such a wonderful time and felt very blessed to have such a magic team looking after us. Our tent was spacious and ensuited (!) and the beds were comfy. All in all, a brilliant experience. We would highly recommend this.

Well organised, amazing safari guide called Jame!
5/5

We took the 5 night 6 day safari from Maun to Kasane via Khwai, Savuti and Chobe NPs. We were a group of 4. We spent 2 nights in a tent in Khwai and 2 in Savuti. Then the last night in Water Lily Lodge, Kasane.

The tents were large and the private toilet, a blessing! Plus the shower. The camp staff, Dix and Barcelona, were very attentive and efficient, addressing all our needs and more, even with a 'turn down' service.

Machine, our chef, was amazing, taking into account the limitations of cooking in the bush over a fire! The food was varied and plentiful.

The campsites were to ourselves and magical, Khwai was next to a river and Savuti in the bush.

Our guide, Jame (pronounced Jammie) was the absolute best! He is called Leopard Man for good reason and he did not disappoint. We saw everything we could've hoped for and more. Everyday we were blessed with more amazing sightings of magnificent animals and wildlife scenes. From the leopards in Khwai to the lions of Savuti.

Jame's knowledge of the entire area is really impressive and he reads animal movement well, getting us into position for the animal to appear. He is extremely patient too, at times allowing us to be the only jeep in that area, waiting for the sighting.

David, who I communicated with to organise our last minute trip, was very responsive and helpful.

All in all, a magical trip with many memories made and a fabulous way to travel from Maun to Kasane.

Thank you the Travel Creation Botswana team!

Jame was personable, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help make the trip great.
5/5

The tour was a unique and great experience. Jamie ensured that we saw as many animals as possible.
The accommodation was as described and we felt we looked after.
The only negative is that we were supposed to have two nights camping and two nights accommodation in a lodge - however this was changed last minute to three nights camping and one night in the lodge with no adjustment to the cost. This was not detrimental to the trip but this was poor communication as it was a last minute change.
Overall would recommend the company and ask for Jame as your guide!

Travel Creations is very efficient and flexible, willing to adjust their tour to your requirements
5/5

Jammie is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, taking us to the most amazing spots. We saw a large variety of game, including several sightings of all the big cats - no wonder they call him Leopard Man! Jammie loves the bush and his job and the drives with him were amazing. We enjoyed long drives through the bush with huge trees and abundant bird and animal life. Jammie adjusts the daily excursions to meet his clients' needs.

Machine, Election and Jomo are a mean team who very efficiently set up and break camp, ensuring that everything is perfect. We had a hot shower waiting when we came back to camp in the evening after long day in the bush. We were then treated to a delicious 3 course meal, mostly including a fresh mixed salad, and some wine next to the fire. Plans for the next day's excursions were discussed around the fire. In the morning there was hot water in a bush basin outside our tent, and we sat down to a hot breakfast with fresh toast. Machine bakes the most delicious bread over the coals. Coffee and tea were provided on our drive and we would stop for lunch in a shady spot under some magnificent giant tree. You guessed it! Our lunches were delicious!

There was a minor mechanical problem with our vehicle on one of our drives which Jammie fixed temporarily and then repaired back at camp in the evening. We were able to charge our devices in the camp. There is limited Wi-Fi and cell phone reception in the bush.

I can highly recommend Travel Creations and Jammie, Machine, Election and Jomo. They are a winning combination! We definitely got excellent value for our money and were so privileged to have such a wonderful 5-star tour.
