From the very beginning, Nelson proved to be reliable, responsive, and highly professional. Even when we faced an unexpected setback during the trip, he stepped in immediately and helped us resolve it quickly and fairly. His support, both practical and human, made a real difference.
A special thanks goes to Jackson, our Maasai guide. A passionate expert on the Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro, he guided us for several days with patience and deep knowledge, often taking us far from the more crowded routes.
His understanding of the land and its wildlife, along with his respect for nature and his ability to explain things in a clear and engaging way, made every day truly memorable.
What left a lasting impression was the cultural insight he offered. Jackson gave us a rare and authentic window into Maasai life, sharing personal stories and explaining his traditions in detail. It was enriching, inspiring, and something we would never have accessed otherwise.
And of course, we’ll never forget the laughter, the lunches in the parks, and the silence of those moments in the vastness of the Serengeti. Thanks to him we saw all the Big five, included three Rhinos!!!
All the lodges we stayed in were outstanding. Warm hospitality, excellent food, spotless cleanliness. We would have happily stayed longer.
If you can, we highly recommend adding an extra day or two to your safari. Even while staying inside the parks, each day brings something different. You won’t get bored, nature keeps surprising you.
Finally, thank you to Francisco, who took us around Arusha after the safari with kindness and curiosity, showing us both the city’s hidden corners and its most scenic views.
This was a journey we will carry in our hearts.

The best family experience in Tanzania with Ultimate Africa Journey Specialists
Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro has been a long-time dream of mine, and choosing the right company to help us prepare for this incredible journey was essential. After thorough research, we decided on Ultimate Africa Journey Specialists, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
From the very beginning, the entire team was highly responsive and supportive in organizing our trip. Upon our arrival in Arusha, we were treated like family, which made us feel welcomed and cared for. Every detail was meticulously planned, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
On the mountain, we were fortunate to have the best guides and an exceptional group of porters. Their invaluable advice, encouragement, and support were instrumental in helping us reach the summit with our three children (12, 14 and 17 years old). We truly couldn't have achieved this milestone without their dedication and expertise.
Afterward, we embarked on a safari in Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, which was equally flawless. Our guide went above and beyond to ensure we spotted all the wildlife we hoped to see. With his extensive knowledge and experience, we were fortunate to witness a variety of animals, from cheetahs to rhinos—truly magical moments!

Ultimate Africa Journey were incredible during my Kilimanjaro climb. The staff provided amazing support and motivation throughout the trek. The food was amazing from the beginning to the top . Our safari guide was also fantastic, doing everything possible to help us spot all the amazing wildlife. Their knowledge and passion truly enhanced the experience, allowing us to appreciate the beauty of Africa fully. Amazing accommodation provided in such a serene eco friendly way! The team led by Nelson, Teresa and Francisco were very effective and all my needs were attended to in a very timely manner! And when I needed extreme silence to be with myself, I got exactly that! Wonderful experience!

We stayed at Charming Eco Homes one night after 7 days of safari, before catching our flight back home. The staff was very nice to us and they treated us like family; Teresa prepared for us a very good dinner and breakfast. The hotel is comfortable and clean; we also appreciated the surrounding area where we took a stroll and met a lot of kind people. Everyone was welcoming us, as if they knew us!
