Amazing experience, excellent organisation, welcoming and friendly team
I had a fantastic weekend with Eddy from Gari trips, my first experience of Uganda (and safari) which completely exceeded my expectations. We visited Ziwa rhino sanctuary and Murchison Falls, where we managed to fit in two game drives, a walk to the top of the falls and a boat trip. Saw so many beautiful animals and birds in such a short space of time. Eddy was great company - positive, organised, enthusiastic and happy to share his extensive knowledge of wildlife and Uganda, and an expert driver / navigator. I was travelling alone and felt safe and comfortable, even in the Kampala traffic! Communication with Emma who organised the trip was also great - he was super quick to respond and made planning this at pretty short notice very simple. The price was also very reasonable. Thank you Gari trips, I hope to be back!

An unforgettable experience for mother and daughter
We had a fantastic safari experience to Lake Mburo as mother and daughter. Through a friend, Gari Trips was highly reccomended. From the very beginning, everything was well organized. Emmanuel always responded quickly and soon we had put together the perfect itinerary with excellent accommodation.
Our guide Eddy was wonderful, always on time, enthusiastic, and great company during the trip. He has extensive knowledge about both culture and nature, and his natural passion for birds made the safari even more enjoyable. Thanks to his guidance, all activities went smoothly.
We went on a game drive, enjoyed a boat trip, and visited beautiful viewpoints. And Lake Mburo has even more to offer, such as cycling and walking safaris – a unique opportunity to add variety to the classic game drive. What makes this park very special.
It was truly an unforgettable adventure and a very special first safari experience for my mother, who visited Africa for the first time. Uganda is an absolute recommendation, and with such excellent organization and guidance, we were able to fully enjoy both the beauty of nature and our time together. Also the car was very comfortable for the long drives!

Emmauel was the perfect tour gide.
Our familiy trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park and to the Crater Lakes / Fort Portal was wonderful. It was a perfect guided tour and we felt safe in every moment. The accomodations were amazing and perfect choosen for our needs.

Amazing experience!
Our trip with Emma was amazing! We went from Kampala to Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth National Park and back to Entebbe. Gari Trips provided excellent driving in Ugandan traffic (we felt very safe) in a very comfortable and clean car with a very kind and calm guide. Emma really enjoys his profession, which made the experience unforgettable. He made sure we would get the full experience of Uganda. He is an amazing tourguide, animal spotter, photographer and driver. Besides that, he is also an amazing person who cares for the people around him. We would recommend Gari Trips to anyone travelling Uganda!

Fantastic experience seeing Uganda with Gari Trips
We had an absolutely brilliant 11 day tour with Emmanuel from Gari Trips. We enjoyed game drives in Mburo and Murchison Falls National Parks, a trip to see the gorillas at Bwindi, a relaxing day at Lake Mutanda, a trip to Ziwa rhino sanctuary and much more. Emma was fantastic, not only driving us safely around the country (1,500km covered) but full of local knowledge - everything from the best rangers to take on our drives to the history of the country to the details of all the animals and birds (many, many birds!), to the best places to find clean facilities during the long drives (vital!). It was great to have such a knowledgeable and friendly guide for our trip - I'd very much recommend using his services.

Friendly and reliable tour operator
Tops: I needed an operator to pick me up in Kigali, drive me to Lake Mutanda, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Bunyonyi and Kampala, and Gari tours was recommended by a colleague.
It proved the right choice, with Immanuel and Christine helping out with the options and planning - always quickly responding to my questions - and arranging payment by banktransfer in instalments (as creditcard not possible).
The driving was done by Eddy, who is a great driver and very friendly travel companion. After the trip, he even came back to hotel to drop off a souvenir that I had left in the car. The recommended lodges and hotel were all excellent.
Tips: fix airco in car. Provide more info on the gorilla tracking in advance (for example the possibility of hiring a porter to help climbing the slippery slopes). Get a better feeling of the best spots to make photos on route.

It was a wonderful tour, Emmanuel cared for everything
We had a very good driver- Emmanuel was very well prepared for this tour . He managed everything perfectly, he chose well trained nationalparc-rangers . We saw a lot of animals very near to our car. The lodges were very clean with moskito-nets. We enjoyed the atmosphere with excellent meals and good drinks. Emmanuel told us a lot of the life in Uganda. We felt us protected everywhere.
Whenever I come back to Uganda I would again select Gari Tour Association. EMany thanks to Emmanuel for this wonderful trip.
