Unforgettable Safari in Tanzania
We had the incredible opportunity to join a safari tour in Tanzania, and it was amazing. From the sweeping landscapes of the Serengeti to the breathtaking wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater, every moment felt like a scene from a documentary.
What truly set this tour apart was the exceptional team behind it. The guides and staff were not only incredibly kind and welcoming, but also impressively knowledgeable. Our guide had a deep understanding of the wildlife, ecosystems, and local culture, and shared it all with passion and clarity. A brutal safari
We felt right at home, but surrounded by animals 😂 We saw tons of wildlife, including elephants just a meter away, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, vultures, and even a hyena. Our safari in Tanzania was absolutely epic. Everything was perfectly organized, we didn't have to worry about a thing! They pick you up where you want, they drop you off where you want - and in between a dream takes place! Our local guide’s passion, experteese and sharp eye made every game drive exciting - the local legends and myths and stories this guy knew by heart, thats when you beginn to "get the feel" for Tanzania. Endless planes full of animals, deep fertile craters, the sun turning this old powerful landscape into gold...you need to see where our ancestors long ago where born, to understand what a priviledge (and responsibility) it is to be human. This is what makes this safari special- you can concentrate and imerce yourself in those thoughts and that atmosphere, Rafiki Tembo Tours guides you trough it and takes care of the rest. Sit back and enjoy!

Rafiki Tembo really go out of their way to take great care of you on your incredible journey!
We researched several safari companies before booking with Rafiki Tembo. We chose them because of their willingness to customize our tour to our needs/wishes, their great communication, their good pricing, and positive reviews.
Rafiki Tembo is a fairly new company. They are very eager to provide excellent service and it shows! There were a few points of confusion and a couple mix ups with our itinerary but they worked quickly to resolve them and offered some extra unplanned perks like a candlelight bush dinner.
The entire team was very professional and a pleasure to interact with, especially the guides who were all very knowledgeable and easygoing. The company director checked in regularly and was quite accessible when we needed assistance or had questions.
The accommodations were well chosen and comfortable. The food was usually very good—lots of choices. The boxed bush lunches could use improvement—too much sugar, but that is probably something the lodges control.
Overall, Rafiki Tembo did an excellent job taking care of us. Safaris can be challenging. There is a lot of travel involved and switching accommodations often. It’s important to have a company that communicates well and cares about helping you along your journey. Rafiki Tembo definitely delivered for us! Asante sana, Rafiki!
