Affordable and accommodating .
The tour Mark put together for us was all encompassing and included some life changing moments. The game drives, gorilla trek, and chimpanzee trek were some of the best things we have ever done in all of our travels. We even saw all of the Big 5!
The wire transfer at the beginning may cause some trepidation but don't worry, Mark was extremely helpfully with any and all questions we had. We had two guides on the tour starting with Rogers and ending with Moses. Both were fantastic and extremely knowledgable about wildlife and culture.
The only reason I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 is due to a few miscommunications with our itinerary. One of the accommodations toward the end of our trip ended up being of a lower quality than the original booking. There was little to do and very limited amenities. I communicated this to Mark and he resolved the issue quickly which was greatly appreciated.
I would do the entire trip again with this company with just a few minor changes to the end of our itinerary. I would recommend this tour company to anyone,

Magical Gorilla's and Chimps adventure
An amazing trip with an itinerary developed together with Mark. Great communication and easy to make payment 50% before arrival (direct transfer) and 50% on the morning we met (cash). We met Moses our driver and he was a delight of information about villages, animals and info about Uganda. Importantly, we always felt safe and secure with our local guide and drive Moses.
Our trip was for 3 nights / 4 days (I wish we had more time!). First day driving around 8 hours to Elephant Hab Lodge near Queen Elizabeth National Park. Buffet lunch at a local restaurant along the way (delicious local food) and also a stop at the Equator. Quick visit to QE NP at sunset - elephants, buffalo, impala, hippos!
Day 2 we stopped for Chimp trekking with the amazing Franklin (guide). Chimps were high in the trees but our binoculars ensured we had a great view. Also saw various monkeys and birds. About 4 hours of gentle walking. We hired a porter to support the local economy. Another drive thru villages and spectacular countryside to Gorilla Haven Lodge for 2 nights. Another delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 3 and we are so hopefully at finding Gorilla's today. Up early for the drive through the mist to the meeting point. We are met by a welcome with singing and dancing. We are allocated our group and hire porters (again to support the local economy and help us!). The trackers have headed out earlier to find our family of gorilla's and we jump in our car with Moses to get closer to where they are. Then after a 45 minute hike up hill through literally impenetrable forest we see the silverback gorilla sitting and munching leaves in a tree. Truly spectacular. The next hour was spent in wonder as the gorilla family with mums and babies went about their day and allowed us to watch on.
The final morning we are up early again and Moses drives us to the airstrip in Kisoro for our flight back to Entebbe. We couldn't thank Moses enough for the most magical time in Uganda. Brief but will stay in our hearts and minds forever. Thanks also to Mark for working with me to organise the trip.
