Excellent
5/5

An incredible trip to Villa in the Wild. Beautiful accommodation, delicious food and plenty of activities to enjoy while not out on Safari! Brilliant game drives, with the big 5 and much, much more spotted, & days topped off with sundowners! Excellent organisation with everything running smoothly from start to finish - thanks so much.

Far & Wild organised a trip of a lifetime
5/5

First time ever on safari or to Africa and the trip exceeded anything I could have imagined. We saw all the big five and the lodges, food and service were all phenomenal. We were so well looked after from start to finish, both while we were away and during the booking process and everything went completely smoothly. It really was the holiday of a lifetime.

Planned our perfect honeymoon and a five star service.
5/5

With only 6 weeks notice, Far and Wild did a brilliant job planning our dream honeymoon; efficiently organising a 10-day trip to Kenya. Having never been to Africa before, it did not disappoint, from safari in the Maasai Mara to relaxing in Shela, Lamu and finally at Manda Bay - all communication throughout the planning was clear and informative with questions answered promptly. They understood what were hoping for and curated the perfect trip for us. From the moment we arrived in Nairobi, we felt relaxed knowing all logistics were in hand, leaving us to take it all in and enjoy. First, we stayed at Saruni Basecamp, a luxury camp overlooking the Talek river, recommended by F&W with excellent food, hospitality and a very knowledgeable safari guide. Our transit to the coast was very easy, 2 short flights via Nairobi to be greeted by hotel representatives at both Kijani and Manda Bay, a short boat ride to both. F&W provided all information of travel and timings via an app, which ensured we knew where to be and when. It also helpfully included a packing list and important contact information. We are so grateful to Ottilie and Ben for an unforgettable and special honeymoon - we've fallen in love with Kenya and can't wait to go back. Thank you guys.

Most magical trip of a lifetime
5/5

My 76-year-old mum and I (I'm 35) decided to tag a safari holiday onto the end of a two-month trip to Australia. We were both a little nervous about arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in the middle of the night, but our worries were unfounded — we were met by a friendly F&W organized rep and escorted all the way to our taxi, which took us directly to a hotel just five minutes away. There, we enjoyed a very restful sleep, followed by a morning dip in the rooftop pool, a session in the gym, and the 4 points mega breakfast buffet!

As we checked out, our driver was already waiting — as planned — and we set off for Nanyuki. He indulged us with route variations so Mum could go on trips down memory lane, he drove safely and was very knowledgeable. What a way to start the trip, we were completely at ease and felt in very safe hands

We met the rest of our family in Nanyuki and proceeded to have the most wonderful trip of a lifetime. We travelled from Nanyuki to El Karama where we were welcomed into a very luxurious camp indeed. As we were a large group we stayed at the more private Nilotica camp were we were free to take over and let the kiddies run free. We enjoyed the game daily morning and evening game drives with well thoughtout breakfast and sundowner locations out in the bush. We relaxed at the camp during the day where was an incredibly well maintained bush gym, a running track and on site spa/ massage treatments. The children were kept entertained in the pool and absolutely loved their daily bush school. The days flew by much to my horror it was soon time to head off to the coast.

Again, things couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We were met at El K by our driver after breakfast and taken to the Airport with plenty of time to spare. We then flew to the regional airport of Diani where we were met by the hotel taxi and arrived at our lodgings for welcome drinks, with plenty of time to unpack, and familiarize ourselves we then headed off to the beach for a swim and sundowners. We then spent the next week on a pristine white sand beach, swimming in the warm Indian ocean, kitesurfng when the wind permitted and relaxing drinking coconuts/margaritas by the pool!

What a trip, it was worth every penny and to know you are in such good and well-connected hands is priceless!

Sightseeing without feeling like a tourist
5/5

Brilliant service from Far & Wild – friendly, responsive, all over the detail, and really knew their stuff. Guides and support were at your service 24/7 so we never missed out on anything we wanted to see or do. The whole trip went really smoothly, and the accommodation, activities and quality of guides were incredible and well thought out. The trip and booking process was completely stress-free. Would absolutely recommend!
