Exceptional guides, incredible wildlife, unforgettable memories
We engaged Salt and Pepper for a 10-day safari across Kenya and Tanzania, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Helena and Isaya were always prompt in responding to our queries. As there were only two of us, they were also able to customise our itinerary, including arranging a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, which was unforgettable.
We saw everything we had hoped for—the Big Five, two wildebeest migrations, lions mating, and three separate sightings of lions feeding on their prey. We were also fortunate to see giraffes and elephants, and most memorably, a pair of rhinoceroses crossing right in front of our vehicle.
All of these incredible encounters were made possible by our knowledgeable and experienced guides, Isaya, Derick and Dominic. From the very beginning, we knew we were in good hands. They had an exceptional ability to locate wildlife and always positioned the vehicle perfectly for photography, allowing us to capture some unforgettable shots.
Beyond the incredible wildlife sightings, what truly stood out was the respect and care they showed towards both the wildlife and the local communities. While they were committed to giving us the best possible safari experience, they never compromised on ethical wildlife viewing.
The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, the rooms were comfortable, and the food was consistently excellent, with an impressive variety at several lodges.
This safari was truly a dream come true, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. A huge thank you to everyone at Salt and Pepper for making it so memorable. We would highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

An authentic and enriching experience in Tanzania
The safari experience provided by Salt and Pepper Safari between Arusha and Kilimanjaro exceeded all expectations. From our first contact through to our farewell, the organization was impeccable, showcasing the exemplary professionalism of our guide, Isaya Elias, and an attention to detail that made every moment memorable.
The welcome was warm and genuine, making me feel at home in the heart of Tanzania. The Salt and Pepper team not only ensured my safety and comfort at every stage but also demonstrated deep respect and sensitivity toward the local community and the environment.
The community-based activities were extraordinarily well-prepared and executed, allowing for an authentic immersion in the culture and daily life of the local people and tribes. It was a unique opportunity to interact, learn, and contribute, with the certainty that my presence was valued and beneficial to everyone.
Equally remarkable were the activities that immersed us in the landscape, our encounters with the rainforest, and the waterfalls. Salt and Pepper Safari knew how to highlight the region’s overwhelming beauty, organizing tours and sightseeing experiences that left me breathless. Every trail, every view, every encounter with wildlife was masterfully orchestrated, ensuring that I could appreciate the magnificence of nature in all its splendor, always with the utmost respect for the preservation of the ecosystem.
Salt and Pepper Safari doesn’t just offer a safari; it offers a transformative journey, where adventure intertwines with social and environmental responsibility.
We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an authentic, safe, and deeply enriching experience in Africa. Kudos to Salt and Pepper for creating unforgettable memories and for doing so with such passion and excellence.

Absolutely reliable and always focused on the customer experience.
I had already participated in two safaris before and thought it couldn't get any better. But this time we took four days and saw more animals than I had ever dreamed possible. Elephants, giraffes, and lions in Tarangire, rhinos, hippos, flamingos, and more elephants up close in the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. In the Serengeti we were right in the middle of the great migration of herd animals such as zebras, antelopes and wildebeest. There, in addition to the lions, we also observed the more timid big cats like leopards and cheetahs at close range. But for me, the real kings were the ubiquitous elephants who, with their families, shape the image of the Serengeti. In Serengeti we spent two nights in the heart of the wilderness, where we could hear a lion killing a buffalo nearby, while we were safely in our accommodations under the protection of Maasai warriors. In the mornings, from our accommodation we watched the sun rise over the vast Serengeti, in perfect harmony with nature. All of this will remain an unforgettable experience, not least because of our guide Isaya, who constantly looked after our well-being and discovered so many wonderful animals with his sharp eyes. Thank you so much for the wonderful time I will remember all my life.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Isaya. He was so informative and a great person to be around. We saw the big five as well as so many other animals. We had some beautiful interactions with the people of Tanzania and for that, I am so thankful. Our trip consisted of the Serengeti as well as Ngorongoro Crater. Tanzania is a must visit and I could recommend this company more for your Safari adventure. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous experience
Our guide, Esaya, was extremely knowledgeable about the animals, plants, landscape, and even the insects. He freely shared his knowledge in a story telling way that made you feel like old friends catching up.
We saw elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, impala, leopards, lions, eagles, cranes, ostriches, and even dung beetles rolling their dung balls. We saw too many other animals, birds, and insects to list them all.
Pickup and drop off at the airstrips was punctual and smooth. Esaya's professionalism and warm personality made our Safari especially memorable.
Highly recommend!!!!

Excellent!
We spent a day in Tarangire National Park with our tour group.
The arrival and departure went smoothly and all our wishes were implemented in the planning and execution.
It was an extraordinary experience for us, as we were very lucky with the sighting of the animals and our guide Isaya knew the national park very well.
The price/performance ratio was unbeatable and we would book a second tour at any time!
Highly recommended!
