absolutely unforgettable from start to finish
We had an amazing experience with Thamani African Safaris from start to finish.
Communication before the trip was always quick and efficient. They provided us with different options for the daily itinerary and accommodation, allowing us to choose and tailor a trip that best suited our budget and preferences. Even just one day before our departure, we decided to add visits to Serval Wildlife and a coffee farm, and they managed to arrange everything very quickly and smoothly.
From the moment we landed, we were extremely well taken care of. Everything throughout the trip was well organized and ran smoothly, so we could simply relax and enjoy the safari.
We were also incredibly lucky to see so many animals and some truly unforgettable wildlife moments. A huge part of this was thanks to our guide, who was extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He knew where to look for wildlife, understood animal behavior very well, and always did his best to give us the best possible viewing experience.
Overall, the service was reliable, flexible, and excellent value for money. It was truly one of the best and most unforgettable trips we have ever had, and we would highly recommend Thamani African Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

Outstanding
Thamani safaris provide excellent value for money. The guide was very knowledgeable and showed us all the animals including leopards, cheetahs and rhinos. I will recommend everyone to book Thamani safaris even if you have to spend a few extra bucks

They have impeccable execution.
We had a great time. The execution by the team was impeccable. Our itinerary included Zanzibar, Serval Wildlife and Serengeti Bushtops. We had smooth transfers throughout the trip and the team made sure to have constant communication through whatsapp.

Just felt like a dream came true…
We had the most incredible 4-day safari with Tamani Safari, and I truly cannot recommend them enough.
Our guide, Shedrack, was absolutely amazing — so knowledgeable, passionate, and with an incredible eye for spotting wildlife. Thanks to him, we were lucky enough to see things that most people never get to experience, including several leopards and even rhinos. It honestly felt like a dream come true.
Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We always felt safe, well taken care of, and completely immersed in the experience. Shedrack also shared so much interesting information about the animals and the ecosystem, which made the safari even more special.
This was so much more than just a safari — it was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you for these incredible memories!

Among the many safari tours available, this one was truly a rare gem.
The safari planned by Thamani was exceptionally well organized. From the very beginning, I never once felt the need to look elsewhere, because she truly understood what I wanted. She respected our budget, yet managed to create an experience that felt incredibly luxurious in the heart of the wild.
And then there’s Mweta, truly the perfect guide anyone could ask for. With over 30 years of experience in wildlife, his knowledge is remarkable. He was so patient with us, always knowing exactly where to go and what we might find. His instincts and expertise made every moment special.
We absolutely loved the entire safari experience with them. Every detail was carefully taken care of, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy. They made the trip effortless, beautiful, and unforgettable.
Even my husband said that those four days of safari with Mweta felt like being taken on a trip by a father — caring, protective, and genuinely invested in giving us the best experience possible.

Well organised, knowledgable, friendly , luxury experience
From first enquiry the communication was great , as we had some initial questions before booking this trip from overseas. The length of safari was perfect for us and we had a good feeling about the company.
Initial deposit was easy as was final payment.
Everything happens on the safari that was outlined in the safari summary from hotel pickup in Arusha, meeting at the airport in the Serengeti to drop off back in Arusha.
The accommodation on our trip was top notch luxury.
Our vehicle was modern and spacious for the 2 of us.
Our guide (Sam) was a legend and clearly had a lot of experience, especially as he was raised in the bush. You could tell he really cared about the animals. An advantage of these smaller safari companies is you get more experienced guides/ drivers.
We would strongly recommend using Thamani safari.

The African continent is one of my favorite destinations; it always surprises me, and Tanzania was no exception. I had the opportunity to visit Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti, Knorrongoro, and finally Zanzibar—a simply fascinating experience. Excellent planning and extremely helpful
Our holiday was fully planned and detailed information shared when booking. The guide was excellent and so knowledgeable.
Our accomodation was clean in every location and the service excellent. Food was nutritious and plentiful along with being so tasty.
Any questions before leaving or whilst on our trip were answered promptly.
Can't wait to visit again.
