Our 17-day journey through Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Uganda was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we are incredibly grateful to Wild Uganda for making it so unforgettable.
From the very beginning, everything was perfect. Communication was excellent, the organization was flawless, the hotel selection was wonderful, and every guide we had was passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making our experience special.
A huge thank you to Ernest for the incredible organization, and to Yasir, Qamara, and Kasim for making this journey even more extraordinary. We could not have asked for better people to guide us through these amazing countries.
We were lucky enough to experience so much during our 17 days. In Kenya and Tanzania, we saw an incredible amount of wildlife, including the Big Five multiple times, and every safari felt completely magical.
In Rwanda, we explored the beautiful, incredibly green and clean city, visited the Genocide Memorial, which was a very emotional and meaningful experience that we would 100% recommend, and had the unforgettable opportunity to see the golden monkeys.
Then came Uganda, which completely stole our hearts. Seeing the gorillas in their natural habitat felt absolutely unreal — one of those experiences that is almost impossible to put into words. We also visited beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, where we enjoyed a wonderful boat tour… and, incredibly, it is also where we got engaged! It will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.
We also had the opportunity to see chimpanzees and learn about coffee and vanilla plantations, which gave us such a wonderful insight into the local culture and way of life.
Looking back, we feel incredibly lucky and grateful for every single moment of this journey. The landscapes, wildlife, people, cultures, experiences, and memories will stay with us forever.
It is going to be very hard to beat such an amazing trip. Everything was truly perfect.
We would recommend Wild Uganda 100% to anyone dreaming of experiencing East Africa. If you are considering booking a trip with them, do it — you will not regret it!

Well organized - provided an awesome and unforgettable journey
Communication with the tour operator was excellent - from the first communication to the information provided for the tour. The whole tour was planned very well and each day was a highlight - we‘ve never been on such a safe and amazing trip.
Rashid, our guide and driver was outstanding, he managed everything very well and we would highly recommend him for a tour.
We would love to do another trip in Uganda soon and we would always choose Wild Uganda again.

Unforgettable trip at a fair price!
We booked our Uganda trip through Wild Uganda because the 10-day tour with all activities and the value for money convinced us. Even though communication slowed down a bit after initial good advice, everything went smoothly on the spot. All activities—like the gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, the walking safaris to the rhinos, or in Lake Mburo National Park, and spotting the shoebills—were super well-organized, informative, and an absolute experience thanks to our excellent guides.
Our lodges were simple but clean, though the upgrade to the Tabingi Safari Lodge is highly recommended. The Ride 4 a Woman accommodation is also worth mentioning. Overall, we were well taken care of in all accommodations and enjoyed excellent vegetarian food everywhere. All staff members were extremely warm-hearted, helpful, and always friendly. Especially in Hornbill Bush Lodge.
Our Uganda adventure was rounded off by our guide Andrew. He always tried his best to accommodate whatever we needed, even smoking breaks on long rides. He has a wealth of expert knowledge, but what I loved most were his stories about Uganda, its wildlife, and the communities—things you only learn from a local and won't find on Google. I always knew, we were in good hands with him, because he genuinely cared about us. And I truly admire his ability to navigate the chaotic traffic with such calmness! Andrew really gave us an unforgettable time.
We saw the Big Five and so much more—like pangolins, shoebills, Ankole cows, and so, so many birds. The gorillas and chimpanzees still leave me speechless. So, I highly recommend a trip to Uganda to anyone. It was truly impressive. Weebale nnyo!

Professional, helpful, flexible and quick to respond
Wild Uganda are a great company to deal with. From the initial enquiry and booking, through to the service provided on the trip, everything was outstanding. Excellent Experience that was well organised and smooth
We loved our trip to Uganda and that was a large part due to the services of Wild Uganda - booking with them was incredibly smooth, and they were very receptive to customising and making changes for us when we wanted to go somewhere slightly different. They handled everything. It was so nice to travel where all of the accommodation, food, travel, guiding and activities were professionally handled ahead of time. All of the accommodation was fantastic for the price we paid, and we liked the inclusion of a few community lodges as well. While the car was a bit old, that seemed normal for the area and it did the job / didn't let us down! The roads were also generally quite good in most places, making the travel easy.
Benjamin Aine was our guide-driver and he was excellent. He was very communicative, polite, friendly and professional. He had good knowledge of the wildlife and birds for the drives he guided us on and provided excellent commentary and information about all of the places we visited and also taught us a little about the cultures and lives of the people living in Uganda.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Uganda as a destination, and Wild Uganda as a tour company.

Great overall experience - fast reaction, great service and company
This was our very first fully guided travel experience and we are more than happy we choose to go with "Wild Uganda". Normally we do alot of self-drive traveling but since we took my wifes parents with us and it was their first time outside of Europe, we decided to go for it.
Age group for classification: 2 Pax around 30 years, 2 Pax around 50-60 years
+ Route and Options & unforeseeable changes
From the very first contact till our arrival back home: Ernest was quick and reliable. He took all our wishes into account and planned it into the route. The recommendations of accommodations were well selected for each price segment. Changes were no problem. In the originally planned 15 day-tour everything was packed into what we wanted. From the northernmost tip of the Kidepo NP to the south in Bwindi NP - everything was excellently timed.
Even as our transit flight from Brussels to Entebbe got canceled and we lost 1 day, Ernest was so quick in changes and trying to help out for finding an earlier flight.

Our guide was Rashid. We can't make any suggestions for improvement. He was a great accompaniment and a professional driver in the sometimes crazy traffic of Uganda. He has always given his very best to create the most intense and best possible experience for us. It was worth having a guide because he used his contacts to make our trip even more special. Even if my parents-in-law can hardly speak a word of English, he didn't ignore them and always included them and their wishes.
Also we like how he is documenting the stops for Social Media and provides interesting information.
If you are still thinking about which provider you want to take, we would like to recommend Wild Uganda to you with full conviction.

Absolutely perfect
I have to start by saying how lucky I was to come across the Wild Uganda agency. I had tried contacting other agencies first, but the prompt and incredibly pleasant communication with Ernest made the decision easy. I am so happy I chose them. Then came a wonderful surprise in the form of our guide and driver, Chris—a small man with a huge heart and a wealth of knowledge about nature. If there was something he didn't know, he would find it out. His patience with me and my two daughters meant the world to us. I was especially touched by his dedication: one evening, as we were heading back for dinner after a long day on safari, he learned that another group had spotted a lion; without hesitation, he turned the car around and drove back a long way just so we could see the lion for a few minutes. His driving skills are super, and his laughter, wit, and sense of humor are unforgettable. Those ten days together turned us into a family. Thank you, Ernest, for gave Chris to us. The accommodation, food, and everything else were absolutely perfect. Thanks to the two of you, it was our best vacation ever. With love always, Jana, Adélka, and Anežka.

Wild Uganda Is A Great Operator
Wild Uganda did a spectacular job designing our 12 day safari in Uganda and Rwanda. Our contact Ernest was always there to answer our questions over WhatsApp and our guide/driver Kasim was thoughtful, very polite, helpful, very informative and a great driver (important because the roads are difficult in spots and town traffic is fast). Our lodges were all very comfortable with helpful staff, lovely décor and abundant food at meal times. We could also have flavored waters, tea/coffee in the afternoons, with cookies or fruit to hold us until dinner. You will find the people of Uganda and Rwanda are polite, reserved and dedicated to you as a guest. I highly, highly recommend Wild Uganda and I feel extremely lucky to have picked them to give us such a marvelous trip.

Professional, trustworthy, friendly and flexible
Our tour operator was Wild Uganda. We booked the private 10 days tour, including the Gorilla and Chimpanzee tracking. The whole expirience from booking, to us leaving, far exceeded our expectations.
Ernest was always prompt with communication and there were no language barriers. We found the price to be very fair in comparison to other safari destinations.
We went for the mid-range lodges and we were totally satisfied with the space, comfort and amenities. We both had some very good "wows". I would go so far to say that we would have been OK with the budget level. Food was always plentiful, (I challenge you to finish any meal! 😆) with many options and tasty too.
Brian was our guide. He was friendly and very professional, he wasn't overbearing and at mealtimes he gauged perfectly when we might want our space. He was flexible with the schedule when needed and a great problem solver. He did his absolute best to give us the very best encounters, and succeeded. He was always on time too which we love! His knowledge of the parks and its animals was exceptional and we made a great team with the bird spotting and identification. His driving was safe and the trucks are the best we saw on the tour.
We found Wild Uganda were professional throughout and we highly recommend them to anyone wanting to see the Big Five and the amazing Primates of Uganda.
This once in a lifetime trip to see the wildlife, the vastly diverse Ugandan landscapes, and its wonderful people, may turn into more than once! Thank Brian and Wild Uganda

Incredible first safari experience
We had an amazing experience with Wild Uganda and would 100% recommend them!
This was our first safari, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The whole tour was very well organized and incredibly diverse, we got to discover so many different places, landscapes and animals throughout the trip.
A huge part of what made the experience so special was our guide, Derrick. He was absolutely fantastic from start to finish: extremely kind, attentive, knowledgeable and always happy to answer all of our questions about the wildlife, nature and Uganda in general.
What really stood out was how dedicated he was to making sure we had the best possible experience. During every game drive, he was constantly looking for wildlife and doing everything he could to help us spot animals, especially lions, leopards and other harder-to-find species. He had an incredible eye for spotting them, and we’re convinced that we were able to see so much wildlife largely thanks to him!
He was also always taking care of the little details. Every morning, we would come back to a perfectly clean and prepared car, with fresh bottles of water ready for us. The vehicles themselves were also very comfortable and perfect for the safari.
Overall, an unforgettable first safari experience. We came back with incredible memories and couldn’t recommend Wild Uganda, and especially Derrick, enough. Thank you for making this trip so special! 🦁🐘🦒❤️
