Professional and attentive team
Our trip to Uganda was a wonderful experience. Jerry's team provided professional, patient, and attentive service. I was deeply impressed by Uganda's beautiful scenery and fascinating animals. Gorillas were my most anticipated activity, but due to communication difficulties, I was assigned to a lower-level group. It was a shame that it didn't meet my expectations. I hope to experience it again next time.

Knowledgeable and incredible!
I had an incredible safari with Gorilla Pathfinders in August 2025, exploring both Uganda and Rwanda. Everything was perfectly organized — from the airport pickup to the daily activities. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we saw amazing wildlife, including gorillas up close. The accommodations were comfortable, and the whole trip felt safe and well planned. Highly recommend Gorilla Pathfinders for anyone looking for an unforgettable safari experience!

5 Stars ins't just enough! 10 days Rwanda and Uganda Safari
My wife and I have just returned from what we can only describe as the most incredible adventure of our lives, all thanks to the exceptional team at Gorilla Pathfinders. From the moment we were greeted in Kigali to our final farewell at Entebbe Airport, every single detail was meticulously planned and executed with passion and expertise.
Our guide, Mambo James, is an absolute treasure. His knowledge was boundless—he wasn't just a driver; he was a master storyteller, a skilled wildlife spotter, and a kind-hearted ambassador for his countries. He made us feel safe, informed, and entertained throughout the entire 10 days. James, thank you for your patience, your incredible sense of humor, and for sharing your love for East Africa with us.
The itinerary was perfectly paced. The Kigali City Tour was a profound and humbling start. Trekking the playful Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park was a delight, but nothing could prepare us for the raw emotion of coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla family in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. It was a truly spiritual experience we will cherish forever.
The adventures continued in Queen Elizabeth National Park, where James’s eagle eyes found us tree-climbing lions, and the boat safari on the Kazinga Channel was a floating paradise of hippos, elephants, and birds. Kibale National Park lived up to its name as the primate capital—hearing the calls of the chimpanzees and then spending an hour with them was exhilarating. And our trip ended on a high note with a magical canoe trip in Mabamba Swamp where we spotted the prehistoric and magnificent shoebill stork!
Gorilla Pathfinders, thank you. You delivered on every promise and then some. The accommodations were wonderful, the vehicle was comfortable, and the entire team's communication was flawless. If you are dreaming of a safari that combines breathtaking wildlife, rich culture, and genuine heart, look no further. You won't find a better company or a better guide than Mambo James.
We are already dreaming of our next trip with you. Asante Sana and Webale Nnyo!

They exceeded all my expectations
My heart is so full. As a solo female traveler, I couldn't have felt safer or more welcomed. From the profound moment locking eyes with a gorilla in Bwindi forest, to game drives and the boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth, and the playful chimps in Kibale national park, every day was a gift.
A massive thank you to the entire Gorilla Pathfinders team, and especially to my guide, Mutombo Alfonso. His knowledge, patience, and genuine kindness turned a great trip into an unforgettable safari of the soul. I left Entebbe with not just photos, but a new family. Pure magic.
