It was a fun time and I enjoyed it so much and everywhere we went the tour guide felt like he apart of our family travelling around with us. This was one of my most fun experiences in my life and every day it was just pure unfiltered fun!

We booked a family safari with Unzip for December 2025 to celebrate my 50th birthday. This was the second time we were booking with them after they did an excellent job for our 25th anniversary trip. We are a family of 15. It was excellent.
Ivan organized comfortable safari cars 3 of them. The drivers were knowledgeable and courteous. Whatever we requested him he did. The game drives, boat rides, transfers etc was excellent. The hotels chosen were perfect for our needs. Added bonus Ivan is an excellent photographer. He took our family photos which was so good!! 😊

We had the time of our lives!!!
For our 15-person family trip around Uganda, Ivan and his team curated an incredible journey filled with too many countless “woooooowwwws” and ululations! At each stop which included Murchison Falls/Sambiya Lodge; Kyaninga Lodge; Queen Elizabeth/Mweya/Kazinga Channel, Unzip Africa literally unzipped parts of these places that made them all the more memorable.
The food was incredible - gosh, I will still be singing about that beef steak at Kyaninga Lodge in my old age! My son still talks about Sambiya Lodge’s food, playground and swimming pool! Ivan also paid attention to our family needs - I have two little ones and he made sure that they got all they needed, and even personally got them their favorite snacks like vanilla milk! We got family cottages which my babies loved!
I have to say this about Ivan - he really goes ABOVE AND BEYOND! We were celebrating my mum’s 50th birthday and my husband’s birthday and he surprised us with cakes for both! Each of them felt very special!
The drivers were all wonderful and kind - a special shout out to Alex who drove the car I was in! 🙌🏾 He stopped every time we had an odd request (which can be quite frequent when traveling with little kids!😅)
He was the best and super considerate.
