Lost driver, broken down vehicle, waste of time.
Is a Serengeti Safari a trio of a life-time? Do you want to see the migration, the big 5, and enjoy a beer at the safari lodge after a good day? If so, don’t book with Bobby!
The first day the agency failed to communicate where the safari lodge was, meaning we drove for HOURS only to arrive exhausted and after dinner was served.
We never saw the migration, bad luck perhaps.
The 4th day the vehicle broke down, and we spent the day on the side of the road, enjoying waves of dust.
For your Serengeti experience, I'd recommend you choose any other agency!

Posted on Aug 14, 2025Dear Jeffrey,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We’re truly sorry that your safari did not go as planned and that you left feeling disappointed. We always want our guests to leave with only good memories, so we take your comments seriously.
Regarding the first night, the lodge you stayed at had changed its name from what it was known as earlier. This created some confusion for the driver, and we recognise that we should have double-checked the details with you beforehand. We will be more thorough in cross-verifying such information moving forward to prevent this from happening again.
On day four, when our vehicle unfortunately broke down, we immediately arranged for a replacement from one of our trusted partners so your trip could continue without much delay. However, we understand that there were challenges in getting along with the replacement drivers, which led to them leaving. We then arranged another vehicle through a nearby property, but the same situation occurred. Ultimately, it was your decision to fly out, and we respect that choice, though we truly wish we could have found a resolution together so you could have experienced the Ngorongoro Crater as planned.
Once again, we are sorry for the frustrations you experienced. We will use this feedback to continue improving our coordination and problem-solving, so future guests can enjoy a smooth safari from start to finish.
If you would like to reach out to us directly to discuss how we can further clarify and resolve this matter, we are lore than willing. It’ll mean a lot to us to know that you will be leaving Tanzania happily.
Warm regards,
Ali Abdallah

Excellent and reliable!
A wonderful experience!
The tented camps were wonderful, especially the Serengeti Tortilis Camp.
Jimmy was a great driver and a special animal guide (the attention to the many bird species was greatly appreciated). THANK YOU!
The forced stops at tourist shops need to be reconsidered (perhaps a requirement of company policy).
