A disappointing experience
Unfortunately, our safari experience was extremely disappointing.
We did not travel directly with this agency's own driver. Instead, the agency subcontracted our safari to a third-party driver, and unfortunately the service we received was very poor.
Out of six planned game drives, three were missed. At first, we were told that we would have to pay extra for them, but later the driver admitted that the game drives had simply not been done because of his own mistake. We also missed a planned lunch.
During the game drives, the driver often did not listen to the radio or communicate with other drivers, which is very important for locating wildlife. He spent a lot of time on his phone, played music loudly, and seemed to have very limited knowledge of the animals and the parks. He also frequently ignored our requests.
We were also supposed to stay at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, which was one of the reasons we chose the trip, but we were instead accommodated at Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge without what we felt was an adequate explanation.
The Kenyan parks and wildlife are incredible, but unfortunately the organization and guiding service we received seriously damaged the experience. While we understand that the agency subcontracted the safari to a third-party driver, the agency is still responsible for the service it sells to its customers.
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this agency unless they significantly improve their organization and, especially, their choice and supervision of subcontracted drivers.

Amateurs
We really had an unpleasant experience with this agency
In particular:
* Extra rooms booked: at every accommodation, an additional room was booked and paid for even though it was not necessary, resulting in an unjustified increase in the total price we paid.
* Downgrade at Saltlick: we had specifically requested to stay at Saltlick Lodge, but we were instead accommodated at Taita Hills, which is a lower-category and less expensive property than the one we had agreed upon.
* Night game drive: the night game drive was almost cancelled because the required payment to the park had not been made by your agency. We therefore risked missing an activity that was part of the agreed itinerary and paid by us in advance
* Morning game drives: the quotation clearly included a game drive every morning, but this activity was not provided on approximately 2 out of the 3 mornings planned.
* Lack of assistance: the assistance provided by agency throughout the trip was essentially non-existent. When these issues arose, we did not receive the support or assistance we would reasonably expect from the agency responsible for organizing our trip.
We believe that, taken together, these issues significantly affected our experience and that the services provided did not match what had been agreed and paid for.
We did not receive any response, nor an apology for the problems encountered, and, above all, an appropriate refund, taking into account both the services we paid for but did not receive and the differences between what was agreed and what was actually provided.

Terrible Experience: Vehicle Breakdown, incorrect quotes/itinerary, and Completely Blocked
We booked a private safari to the Masai Mara with this operator, and it was a deeply frustrating experience from start to finish. We feel entirely let down by their lack of professionalism and broken commitments.
Horrible Communication: Before the tour, getting basic pickup and driver info was an uphill battle. We had to text multiple times and were constantly ignored or given misleading timelines until we proactively followed up.
Ruined Safari Time: The jeep they provided was old and broke down in the middle of our trip. Despite paying for a private game drive, we were forced into a group safari on day one and then wasted a half-day waiting for repairs. After travelling that far all we wanted to do was maximize our time on safari but were unable to do so due to the old and broken jeep.
Unengaged Driver: Our driver was uncommunicative and silent about the wildlife, unlike other informative guides we have experienced.
Paid for Services Denied: Our official quote explicitly included a morning game drive on the final day. When the time came, they refused to honor it, casually dismissing it as a "quote error" even though it was exactly what we paid for.
Zero Accountability: They promised to discuss compensation once we returned to Nairobi. Instead, after a single phone call where they claimed they needed an "audit," they completely blocked our number to avoid resolving the issue.
We feel we did not receive the services we paid for and were completely ghosted when we asked for a resolution. Save yourself the headache and do not book with them.
