Our trip was great and we thought it was fantastic seeing the animals up close.
4/5

We did enjoy our stay, the accommodation was lovely and the food amazing. We would have liked to have been able to spend more time with our guide finding out about the local area.

Flexible and nimble staff
4/5

We requested Africa-Zim to organize a tour for us to Vic Falls and a visit to Chobe park in Botswana. We gave them 3 days to complete arrangements, and we began the trip at the end of the 3rd day. It was a moderately priced trip and we got excellent value for money. We had an afternoon to see Vic Falls then went onto Chobe park where we had 1 night at Water Lily lodge (4 star) in Kasane, 2 nights camping in a tent in Chobe, with the elephants and lions nearby, and 2 nights back in Kasane at Toro lodge (3 star). Our connections throughout were all done well and the people at each place knew Blessing quite well. I give this team 5 stars for their resourcefulness and good services.

8 days from Maun to Vic Falls
4/5

We booked a tour of 8 days, from Maun to Vic Falls. Blessing was very friendly, more a driver and organizer than a true tourist guide. He arranged all excursions, obviously with a profit percentage for him, but it's his job. He can arrange your suitable tour but you must have to tell him what is your program.
I can suggest to contact him if you have a clear idea about your trip.

The 8-day trip was relaxing, well-organized, and of great value
4/5

The communications in planning this trip were very good, the service was excellent, and the trip generally lived up to our expectations--even though when we booked it we did not exactly know what to expect. The first thing to understand is that this the 8-day safari is not a constant trip in the bush. Our director from Africa-Zim, Blessing, is wonderful--very organized and professional, as well as informative. Moreover, it was only our family on this tour--me, my husband, and our adult daughter, and we really appreciated the flexibility this trip offered. The first day we traveled from Livingstone to the Chobe Safari Hotel. The hotel was luxurious and the service was great, as was the boat tour on the Chobe river that we took the afternoon we arrived. The guide on the boat was superb in his ability to spot and talk about wildlife. The next day, we went to the Chobe game reserve, and once again, the sights were spectacular, and the expert guide made the 3-4 hour outing quite wonderful. The following day we drove about 7 hours to Maun and the Sedia Hotel. The hotel is not the best; the outing to the Okavanga Delta was very interesting, but we saw little wild life, in part because of the season. Nothing was scheduled for the next day in Maun, so my husband and I paid extra for a trip to the Moremi Game Reserve. It was a long drive, but once again, the guide was absolutely wonderful and it was well worth the added expense. The following day we spent in the Africa-Zim air-conditioned, comfortable van driving back to Victoria Falls. The Rainbow hotel was lovely, with a view of Victoria Falls and all the amenities one would want. We had a great time touring Victorian Falls the following day. Blessing then took us to the exquisite, historical Victoria Falls Hotel for a wonderful lunch, and then a celebratory dinner of authentic Africa cuisine at the Bhoma Hotel (with music, drums, singing, and dancing) our last night. It had been my husband's birthday the day before, and Blessing went out of his way to have the restaurant present him with a birthday cake. We had a wonderful trip. The only slight downside were the long drives between Chobe, the Okavanga Delta and back to Vic Falls, but the scenery was interesting, the air conditioned van very comfortable, and we really enjoyed talking to Blessing and learned a huge amount from our conversations with him. We had a wonderful trip for a very reasonable price and I strongly recommend Africa-Zim. Thank you so very much, Blessing.

Vic falls April 2014
4/5

Overall, great thank you for helping to plan and arrange for activities and accommodation in Vic Falls.
All the requests were addressed promptly during booking.
What was even better, that despite couple of last minute changes we got booked into everything we wanted to experience in Zimbabwe :)

Good experience
4/5

Blessing Mumbure, my contact for Africa Zim Travel is a very good guy. We agreed my itinerary by mail and I can say that everything was done in the right way. No problem for the accomodations, no problem for the transfer from/to the airport or to the several places visited (Hwange National Park, Chobe National Park...). He can suggest the best that North Zimbabwe can offer and he's always available for your needs.

Disappointed with the Hwange Day Trip
2/5

I would not recommend the Hwange game-drive. It may be better at a different time of year or with a different guide. We did not mind the drive to Hwange from Victoria Falls. We had a very nice driver, but the guide that we had for the game drive was not very good and our vehicle was so noisy that we did not see much except for animals running away. All the animals that we did see were from a distance. It was suppose to be a full day game drive, but it basically ended at lunch time. At lunch time, we drove a long distance (at a very fast rate of speed over a very bumpy road) to the Kennedy Picnic Site. Once there we had lunch while fighting off the many bees and trying to keep them out of our drinks. After lunch, we got back in our game drive vehicle and headed out. We were thinking that we would be seeing more game, but again we drove a very long distance at a fast rate of speed and found ourselves back at the main camp and our game drive was over. Very disappointing.

The accommodation provided (charged by operator at 13 X lodge rate) was an absolute disgrace.
1/5

I recently participated in a tour by this operator. It was tented camps. The accommodation was appalling. The operator charged us 13 times the amount a "walk in" customer from the street would have paid for the same accommodation. We were paying top dollar for the most basic old tents, broken beds, thin matresses, mouse droppings, broken zips, dirty toilets, no hot water, pigeons in the roof, no towels, filthy showers, etc etc. Never again. For the same amount of money you can get much, much better. The operator is a classic rip-off of foreigners who have no idea of prices and what is available.
