Simply incredible
I was initially skeptical about taking a newborn into the wild. A three-month-old baby on safari? It sounded risky. But my wife had always dreamed of experiencing Africa this way, and I could see how much it meant to her. She wasn't going to let motherhood stop her from living fully.
When we contacted Curated Tours, I had a million questions. How would we manage the baby in the heat? What if something went wrong? Would we all be comfortable? They answered every question patiently and never made me feel like I was overthinking it. They had considered every detail, and their plan gave me complete confidence.
Basecamp Adventure exceeded every expectation. Our tent overlooking the Talek River was beautiful, but more importantly, it was practical. We had everything we needed for our baby, and the setup was comfortable for all of us. For the first time since becoming parents, I was able to truly relax.
The picnic in the Mara was one of the highlights of the trip. Sitting in the middle of the wilderness with my wife and our baby, sharing a great meal while surrounded by the beauty of the savannah, was something I'll never forget. Then there was the visit to the Maasai village. Watching my wife dressed in the beautiful custom outfit they made for her, fully embracing the experience, was unforgettable. It felt like we were creating memories that would stay with our family forever.

My Unforgettable Kenyan Safari Adventure
I still can't believe I actually did it. When I found out I was pregnant, I thought my safari dreams were gone, at least for a few years. But then I held my three-month-old baby in my arms last October, and something just clicked. I knew I had to try.
I was honestly nervous when I reached out to Curated Tours. How would I manage a newborn on a safari? But they got it. They didn't make it sound easy or try too hard to sell me. They just said they'd take care of us, and they meant it.
They chose Basecamp Adventure for us, and our tent overlooked the Talek River. Waking up to that view with my baby, hearing the river flow, seeing the wildlife come down to drink... it was everything I imagined.

Nelson was there too, understanding exactly what this meant to me. The whole experience felt personal, not like a checkbox on a tour itinerary.

Attention to detail and knowledgeable
Curated planned our entire honeymoon, from flights and hotels to the cultural attractions in each area we visited. Mind blowing experience in Kenya and Tanzania
My 22-yo son and I had an excellent holiday in Kenya and Tanzania in October 2025, beautifully organized by Margareth, the owner of Curated Tours in Nairobi. From the very beginning, Margareth did her best to understand our wishes within our budget.
After receiving two quotes from different tour operators, I chose Curated Tours. Margareth suggested a Zoom call before finalizing the arrangements, and that conversation immediately gave me confidence. She listened carefully to our background and what we hoped to experience, which made me feel we were in good hands.
This was my very first trip to Africa, and since I had no prior experience, I decided to use a tour operator rather than plan everything myself—as I usually do. We spent nearly three weeks exploring Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru in Kenya, as well as the Serengeti and Zanzibar in Tanzania. Margareth and her team prepared us thoroughly for the trip, helping with visas, insurance, and all necessary travel documents.
During the journey, everything was perfectly organized. We had knowledgeable and friendly guides at each destination, and Margareth even went the extra mile to assist with arrangements outside the main package—such as booking domestic flights and taxis when needed.
