Choosing Horizon Hunt Safaris was the best decision I made for my Kenya safari.
From the outset, she really listened to my specific requirements. As a solo traveller prone to motion sickness, I wanted guaranteed 4x4 vehicles, a window seat on game drives, and the SGR train instead of long road transfers where possible. I also hoped for “armchair safari” opportunities at lodges and shared game drives so I could meet other travellers. Every one of those preferences was thoughtfully accommodated, and her suggestions suited me perfectly.
Communication was always fast, clear and reassuring. I felt supported before I even arrived in Kenya.
What truly sets her apart is how she handles real situations. At Nairobi’s SGR station she personally guided me through the very thorough security process and calmly resolved an issue that could have been stressful. When I became unwell, she immediately advised me, coordinated with my driver and ensured I was treated within minutes — efficiently, without hassle and without unnecessary expense.
One lodge did not initially meet expectations, but she addressed it immediately and arranged an extraordinary upgrade that far exceeded what I could have arranged myself.
Throughout the trip I felt safe, supported and genuinely cared for. The logistics ran smoothly, the wildlife experiences were extraordinary, and the level of personal attention was exceptional.
I would recommend Horizon Hunt Safaris without hesitation, especially to solo travellers who want both adventure and complete peace of mind.

Super professional organisation and wonderful safari experience for the whole family
Although we had travelled in East Africa before, this was our first time in Kenya and our first safari as a family. Choosing between different providers wasn’t easy, so we contacted several and waited to see who would respond. Horizon Hunt Safaris got back to us quickly with a clear, well-thought-out offer, and we decided to go with them, aand wow, we’re so glad we did.
First of all, our contact person and overall organiser, Gorgeous, is absolutely outstanding at what she does. She is incredibly responsive, caring, and proactive. If something is fully booked, she immediately finds excellent alternatives while always informing you what one or an other options means and how it compares; she gives straightforward, honest advice; helps you think ahead about what to do and how to prepare for the safari; and somehow manages to be warm, highly organised, and totally relaxed and super reliable all at once. She was always on top of everything.
And then the safari itself: our driver-guide was top-notch, going the extra mile to make sure we saw as many animals as possible while seamlessly managing all the logistics. We visited Tsavo East and Taita Hills, and this time Taita Hills truly delivered—from a rich variety of birds to lions, many many elephants, some buffaloes, also hyenas guarding a waterhole while giraffes waited at a distance, hoping for a chance to drink; zebras at roads here and there, and so on :)))
All in all, we are incredibly grateful to Gorgeous for her amazing organisation and support. If I ever need to travel anywhere else in Kenya, I would absolutely reach out to her first for advice and help. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and your warmth!

Terrific organized with the goal to let us see the entire wildlife and they succeded.
Georgius organized everything in all details. Aruba Lodge was amazing.
Driver Franco was the best which overcame us.

Amazing experience to remember the rest of the life
Super smooth organization, we booked at the very last moment and still Georgious, our booking agent at Horizon, managed it in one day, from finding great accommodation to advising on all the essentials. The two day safari included three game drives in Tsavo East and Taita Hills and was wonderful experience. We saw various birds, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, waterbacks, impalas, elephants, buffalos and lions. The highlight was the lions and the mother lion carrying her cubs up the hill and of course the late afternoon drive where animals could not just be spotted but where everywhere in big numbers. Special thanks goes of course to our driver Nico, without who was just the greatest guide without who ensured we see all the animals we saw and was super knowledgable on how they live and interact. Pure gratitude!

Unforgettable Masai Mara Flying Safari with Horizon Hunt Safaris
Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) had an absolutely incredible 3-day flying safari to the Masai Mara with Horizon Hunt Safaris during the wildebeest migration in August 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.
From the very beginning, Kamene, our consultant, was outstanding—accurate, professional, and always available to answer our many questions. She helped organize everything from start to finish, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Flying to and from Diani Beach was perfectly coordinated and saved us a lot of travel time.
We stayed at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, which turned out to be a perfect choice—comfortable, well-located, excellent service, and right in the heart of amazing wildlife action. The game drives were unforgettable, with incredible sightings during the migration that exceeded all our expectations.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with a Trusted Company
This was my second safari with this company, and once again, I had an amazing experience. I had visited Tsavo East and Amboseli before, and this time, I went to Masai Mara. Both times, everything was perfectly organized. During the trip, the guides took care of all the communication, so there was really nothing for me to worry about. The guides are all locals who know their parks inside out, and their in-depth knowledge of the wildlife and environment really enhanced the entire experience.
On top, the company organized round-trip flights from Mombasa to Masai Mara, as well as a balloon flight for me. And once again, there was nothing left to wish for!
