Incredible tour operator and tour guide
We organised a three day trip with Umurage Eco safaris and from initial contact, to the end of the tour was perfect. Jophride's commitment to ensuring that everyone has the best tour possible is incredible. He is a passionate, kind, funny, organised and engaging tour guide. I cannot recommend him highly enough. In our short visit we were able to go Gorilla trekking, see the golden monkeys, and see some of Kigali, including the genocide museum. I would definitely use Umurage Eco Safaris for my next trip to Rwanda.

A highly committed team that was always easy to reach and genuinely dedicated to making our individual wishes a reality. The price-performance ratio was excellent! We had an unforgettable journey through Uganda and Rwanda with our driver-guide Gerard, who was attentive to all our wishes and made the trip truly special. From the preparation before start providing information about the trip to the last Goodbye with a little present as memory of a remarkable trip, Umurage Eco Safaris staff did their best to make it one of my best travel experiences.
From the city of Kigali through Akagera NP to the Vulcanos with the Gorilla tracking and lake Kivu - a mix of active and relaxing days, we got an amazing impression of Rwanda's beauty and diversity.
The team went out of their way to adapt to changing circumstances to make our experience complete. Always friendly, always caring.

Makes dreams coming true
We booked a Tour for 10 days. Jophride was very friendly, and helpful . We startet in Kigali, than we drove to Akagera Nationaparc and stayed a few nights in Musanze at Isange paradise ressort. There we visited the Dian Fossy Museum and the highlight was the Gorilla trekking in Bwindi nationaparc in Uganda. He organized all for us - it was really perfect!! We would highly recommand Umurage eco Safari

Amazing Tour with Highlights like Akagera and Gorilla trekking.
Jophride as head of the company an as driver of a huge Toyota Landcruiser showed us wonderful sights of Rhinos. Hippos, Elephants and Lions in Akagera National Park. Also was the Gorilla trekking an expirience, a must to see in a live. The lodges along the Tour were wonderfull. I can recommend to plan a Tour with Umurage.

professional, kind, hospitality
We travelled with Jophrides Safari-Agency in 2024 to Akagera National Park. Our driver, Gerald, picked us up in a well-maintained and comfortable Landcruiser from Kigali and drove us safely and professionally to and around Akagera National Park. There, we also benefitted from Gerald's extensive knowledge of wildlife, so seeing Elephants, Rhinos, Giraffes and Lions was a given! During the ride, Gerald also told us a lot about Rwandan history, making every minute of the trip informative and interesting. Jophride was available to us anytime via phone. In general, the whole organization of the trip was a delight, carried out in a professional, but also personal manner!
