Best company for your safari in both Kenya and Tanzania
Niko, Susan and company do a great job. They are personable and knowledgeable. Our safaris have been great (have been on more than one). We saw everything we wanted to, had very nice accommodations, great food and wonderful guides.

Great 16 days safari in Kenya i Tanzania
My wife and I visited Kenya second time. We found the agency online and they got back to us in only few hours with all the information.
All was very well organized by „The Destination Consultants” and we found it good value for money.
The correspondence with Niko and Susan was very smooth, prompt and clear and they lived up to their promises.
We opted for the most basic accommodation offers and we found them all very neat.
Our program was made perfectly, just like we wanted.
We started in Nairobi, then went to Samburu, Nakuru & Masai Mara. It was amazing time with our guide Evans and the cook Kimani. Evans was very respectful, punctual, kind, patient and had the best eye!!! We had the chance to witness so many things thanks to his patience. We saw wildebeests and zebras crossing the river Mara, Big Five and manym many other animals and we didn't have to hurry up. It was fantastic to see a black rhino female with the young one!!! Kimani, we called him „Mama” cooked very tasty and was a great comrade. It was amazing time.
After visiting Kenya we changed the car and the Raymond & Mandela were our team. We started in Serengeti, then went to Ngorongoro, Lakes Manyara and Natron and then to Tarangire. Raymond was who we needed: professional, but cheerful, great driver and with an amazing eyesight. We had amazing discussions about interesting wildlife facts. We saw again big five, dozens lions, hyenas, leopards, many birds and many others animals. Mandela cooked delicious.
We would like to thank all the people that made this experience unforgettable: Niko, Susan, Evans, Kimani, Raymond, Mandela and all the people in the guest house.
We would like to make special mention of Niko. He was very helpful in all subjects and sent prompt responses. He was a big help in the planning of the entire trip and always friendly.
We must say that it was an unforgettable experience with the people we could only dream about. I would definitely go to safaris with The Destination Consultants again and again!

The Destination Consultants - a family business of Nick and Susan. They are interested in each customer and therefore try to accommodate all the tourists wishes. Our trip to Kenya with Nico was superb. He did everything that we asked for (and even more). I have dealt with a number of tour operators in Kenya, but now I know it's not just another travel agency, and I have a new good friend in Kenya. The best planned AND executed safari I have experience in five trips to East/Southern Africa.
Susan planned a complex safari to 10 parks, in two countries (Kenya/Tanzania) over a three week period and Niko executed the plan without a hitch. Our party included eight people and had to be changed several times during the planning stages due to employment problems and a death in the family but every change was accommodated quickly and efficiently with no fuss.
The safari exceeded our every expectation. This was my 5th safari in East and Southern Africa and easily ranks as the best in terms of guiding, accommodations and value for the money. Each of the four guides was knowledgeable, experienced and had great people skills as well as a good sense of humor. Niko arranged for us to visit a school I have helped support for many years and he lugged around two large bags of supplies for two weeks while we were getting there.
All in all it was a near perfect experience and I would recommend their services to anyone, experienced safari goer or novice, without reservation.

Exceded All Expectations
After four previous trips to Africa, my father-in-law finally got around to inviting me to join him on trip number five. So along with him and my mother-in-law, as well as 5 other family members, and with zero expectations going into it, I headed out on a three and half week journey to Africa (Kenya and Tanzania). Although I was excited for the experience and looking forward to spending time with my family I didn't really know what I was getting myself in to. My father-in-law spent over a year planning the trip but I had very little to do with that process.
From the moment I arrived in Nairobi and met Niko, Susan, and Eliud I knew that I was in for something amazing. From beginning to end every aspect of my trip was perfect. I had the opportunity of getting to know four (Niko, Eliud, Ray and Jackson) very knowledgeable and most importantly, kind, guides. Each with their own distinct personalities, all of which added to the value of my overall experience. The transportation was comfortable and reliable. The accommodations along the way were out of this world...far more then I was expecting. And thats not to even mention the amazing animals that we were able to see along the way.
Although this was my first safari trip, based off the previous experience of others, I have no problem with saying that I believe Susan and Niko, along with the rest of their staff, provide one of the top experiences in Africa. I'm already starting to think about a return trip and I can't imagine using anyone other than The Destination Consultants. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We enjoyed really a lot our safari in Kenya and Tanzania with The Destination Consultants
Now having returned to Colombia, we would like to say that we had a wonderful and beautiful time in Kenya and Tanzania. Thanks to Niko and Susan for their welcome, kindness and the excellent organization for the 9 days we had in total in the two countries.
We also apreciate a lot Ray ( Raymond ), our Guide in Tanzania . We can deeply recommand The Destination Consultants. They deserve it all.
It was a great pleasure to have been hosted there and shown the beautiful landscape and wildlife of enchanting Africa.
We went back to Colombia and Brasil with nostalgy but with plenty of photographs of this memorable safari . We are sure to return in the future. We have made good friends in Kenya and Tanzania and, we are convinced we can count on them when needed.
We let part of our souls and hearts there.

Most amazing tour, so filled with beautiful scenery, superb animals and vast guide knowledge.
Niko and Susan are wonderful people. Every connection was perfectly timed, every detail mastered. Niko and the other guides were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They answered all 7 million of my questions with great detail and humor. We learned about the people of Kenya and Tanzania as well as the amazing wildlife. I travel throughout the world on educational and photography adventures. This safari was by far my greatest adventure. Does the fact that I took over 10,000 photos tell you the caliber of this trip? I plan on returning to Africa and traveling with Destination Consultants with my university students.

An exceptional experience enhanced by the wonderful,friendly, and knowledgeable guides.
A fantastic trip, the itinerary was very well put together and the accommodations we had very nice. Each safari was a new and different experience. The guides were the best, got us the best views and if possible the best lighting for taking pictures too. They were very knowledgeable and excellent at sighting the wildlife and birds. Our group was eight people for 21 days and not one complaint about the tour, only praise. Would recommend Niko, Susan and their great team to all.

The only way to describe our trip to Kenya and Tanzania is awesome. We worked with Susan who helped us plan a flawless trip. From the time we were picked up at the hotel and went through four parks in Kenya and Tanzania to the time we were dropped at the airport everything worked perfectly. Our guides were knowledgeable and very informative. We learnt a lot from them from facts about various animals to the culture of the country. If you are planning a safari we would definitely recommend contacting Susan and Niko. Also ask for Eliud as your guide we really enjoyed touring with him.
Susan was easy to work with and very concerned that our trip went smoothly. She kept close tabs on our movements throughout the trip, and solved problems before they arose. Thank you Susan and Niko for a really memorable time.

Outstanding African Experience beginning with the quality team and then the magical animal viewings.
I have traveled with The Destination Consultants three times and have referred numerous groups to them also.
