This 6-night/7-day itinerary (3 nights each in Savuti and the Mababe Depression) explores two of northern Botswana's most dramatic and predator-rich areas in Chobe National Park and adjacent private concessions. Savuti is legendary for its lion prides, hyenas, and the unpredictable Savuti Channel/Marsh. Mababe Depression (a vast ancient floodplain fed by the Khwai River outflow) boasts mega-herds of buffalo, zebra migrations, elephants, and predators like lions, leopards, wild dogs, and cheetahs.
