The Ashenda Festival is a vibrant cultural celebration held once a year in northern Ethiopia, particularly in Tigray and Lalibela, from August 20–22. The festival follows the Feast of the Assumption of Saint Mary and is mainly celebrated by young women wearing colorful traditional attire.
