It’s such a contrast—Chobe’s wide floodplains give way to labyrinthine waterways, papyrus channels, and lagoons alive with kingfishers, herons, and the occasional lurking crocodile. The Delta is also prime territory for mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions, which let you glide silently through red-lined channels, spotting wildlife at eye level.
