2 travelers on Start dateMokoros are the ancient mode of transport used by the local indigenous people to transverse the delta. From the low vantage point of a dugout canoe – known by the locals as mokoro – you’ll experience a local tradition that has defined the way safaris are run in the Okavango Delta. Accompanied by mokoro polers, who share their local heritage and in-depth knowledge of the area and its flora and fauna, you will enjoy a privileged insight into this otherwise inaccessible wilderness.
