Armadillo Adventures – Standard Itinerary Policies
Booking Confirmation:
A booking is confirmed only when Armadillo Adventures receives a signed booking form along with a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the start of the tour.
Payment Methods:
Armadillo Adventures accepts payments via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money platforms (where applicable). All bank charges and transfer fees are the responsibility of the client.
Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival will result in the loss of deposit only.
Cancellations made between 30–44 days before arrival will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Armadillo Adventures does not offer refunds for any unused services once the tour has commenced.
Amendments:
Any amendments to the itinerary after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Amendments are accepted at the sole discretion of Armadillo Adventures.
Included in the Itinerary Cost:
The itinerary cost includes accommodation, park entry fees, meals as specified (typically full board while on safari), transportation in a custom 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional English-speaking driver-guide, and bottled drinking water during game drives.
Excluded from the Itinerary Cost:
The cost excludes international and domestic flights (unless otherwise specified), travel insurance, visa fees, gratuities, beverages (unless mentioned), optional activities, personal expenses, and any other services not expressly stated in the itinerary.
Travel Insurance:
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients traveling with Armadillo Adventures. The insurance must cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, lost baggage, and emergency evacuation.
Health and Safety:
Clients are advised to consult their doctor regarding vaccinations and travel health precautions before departure. Armadillo Adventures will not be liable for any illness or health complications arising during the tour.
Liability Disclaimer:
Armadillo Adventures shall not be held liable for loss, damage, injury, illness, delay, or inconvenience caused by natural disasters, acts of government, airline rescheduling, or any other unforeseen events beyond its control.
Force Majeure:
In the event of war, civil unrest, natural disasters, government restrictions, or any other force majeure, Armadillo Adventures reserves the right to alter or cancel travel arrangements without prior notice and without liability.
Child Policy:
Children are welcome on our safaris and tours, though age restrictions may apply at specific lodges or activities. Child pricing is available upon request and subject to availability.
Special Requests:
Any special requests (dietary, room preferences, etc.) must be communicated at the time of booking. While Armadillo Adventures will make every effort to accommodate such requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any legal disputes shall be settled within Tanzanian jurisdiction.
